There is also disclosed a process of making the compounds 2-N-[1,1-hydrogen or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl-2(3,4-methylenedioxyphenyl)ethyl]amino-1-(3-hydroxy-4-hydroxy)ethan ol.
