Abstract: The invention relates to a pull mat for toadstool culture or tunnel composting, which pull mat comprises a fabric of warp and weft threads, wherein the fabric comprises at least one strip in longitudinal direction, which at least one strip has a higher tensile strength and lower stretch than the areas of the fabric adjacent to the at least one strip.

Abstract: An artificial lawn able to absorb and store quantities of water. The stored water is released only when the lawn is walked upon and is available to improve its sliding properties. The artificial lawn includes blades which are at least partly hollow and can consist of small U-shaped tubes. The small tubes can further have openings in their lateral wall so as possibly to be able to absorb water also from the support layer or from a water-storing layer.

Abstract: An elongate flexible container, made of a textile fabric and having at least one filling opening. The container is filled with solid material, such as sand or other ground material, for the formation of a body adapted for use as a core or base of a dam, a quay, a bank reinforcement, a jetty or a breakwater, or for filling holes or trenches, or for use at the bed of a waterway, or for the packaging and storage of contaminated material. The container is provided at its upper side with at least one filling opening. The container includes stitching extending in the longitudinal direction of the container and mutually connecting facing edges of the textile fabric.

Abstract: A method for the forming and the deposition in a selected place of a bulk consisting substantially of loose or lightly cohesive material, such as sand or other ground material, for example for use as the core or base of a dam, quay, a bank reinforcement, a jetty or a breakwater, for filing holes or trenches in the bed of a waterway, or for the packaging and storage of contaminated material. The invention has for its purpose to carry out a method of the type in such manner that it can be performed very inexpensively and quickly, while nonetheless ensuring an excellent durability of the formed bulk, both in the short and the long term.

Abstract: A tissue mat protecting against erosion comprising a water-pervious tissue layer provided with anchoring loops. The anchoring loops have the form of a yarn woven across the tissue and protruding from the surface of the tissue. It is possible to use a rugged yarn guaranteeing a satisfactory anchorage to this end. The anchoring loops of the tissue ensure that the mat penetrates into the ground and is thus anchored. It is also possible to anchor concrete blocks of means of the anchoring loops by pouring the concrete on the mat or by pressing it thereon.

Abstract: A cover or the like consisting at least of one woven plastic web, provided at least on one side with a plastics foil, and for covers of comparatively large width composed of a number of such webs in either butted or slightly overlapping relationship. For reinforcement purposes, there is applied at least at two opposite sides an edge strip of similar, at least equally strong material as the cover. Spaced apart from the respective lateral edges, there are formed attachment holes, whereby a reinforcement cord in the longitudinal central region of the respective strip, substantially parallel to the respective lateral edge of the cover, is embedded between the edge strip and cover, while the said attachment holes are formed in the region inwardly adjoining the said reinforcement cord, through the edge strip and cover.
