  • Patent number: 7888833
Abstract: An inner rotor type molded motor controlled by pulse width modulation using an inverter circuit includes a pair of electrically conductive brackets attached to a load-side portion and an anti-load-side portion of a motor frame. An electrically conductive tape is attached on the outside of the motor frame to extend between the brackets, thereby short-circuiting the brackets to each other. In this manner, electrical erosion in the molded motor can be prevented.

  • Patent number: 7667357
Abstract: A motor includes a shaft including upper and lower shaft members spaced axially away from each other. A shaft connecting member made of electrically insulating material is arranged axially between the upper and lower shaft members. The shaft connecting member is provided with fitting portions to which the upper and lower shaft members are to be fitted. While the upper and lower shaft members are secured to the shaft connecting member, the rotor magnet is integrally formed with the upper and lower shaft members and the shaft connecting member. With this configuration, an axial electric current is prevented from flowing through the shaft by the shaft connecting member.

  • Patent number: 7015619
Abstract: A molded motor has a motor frame molded by covering a stator made from a straight core, with a molding resin. The straight core has a stack of laminas each having a plurality of tees projecting from one long side of a belt-shaped back yoke and a V-shaped cut formed between every two adjoining tees along the back yoke and on a side from which the tees project. The straight core has an insulating layer thereon, formed by pre-molding from an insulating resin, excluding at least an inner periphery of each tee. The straight core also has a winding formed about each tee having the insulating layer formed thereon. The stator is formed by bending the straight core at cuts made therein into an arcuate or annular shape, and joining the opposite ends of the back yokes to each other by welding or adhesion.

  • Patent number: 6919665
Abstract: In a stator core is formed by laminated strip-shaped straight cores including a plurality of teeth portions, bent portions being provided with V-shaped notches, which define V-shaped gaps opened to one direction and interposing between each of the teeth portions, the straight cores being formed into an annular configuration by bending the bent portions in a direction so as to close the V-shaped notches and circular holes being provided at the bent portions so as to form a series of gaps between each of the teeth portions. The straight cores further include deformation preventing portions formed on the bent portions by cutting off a part of a pair of oblique lines defining the V-shaped notches toward the circular holes so as to expand the gaps of the V-shaped notches and the circular holes for preventing the bent portions from deforming by stress of bending process.
