  • Patent number: 11738253
Abstract: A snowboard binding including a baseplate, a bearing highback rotatable relative to the baseplate, a pedal to operate the bearing highback at clip-in between an opening position and a closing position and a locking element to lock the rotation of the bearing highback relative to the baseplate in closing position against the elastic return of a lever. The locking element includes two ratchet notches with the lever. The snowboard binding includes a lug that is received into a fork of the locking element with notches or of the lever to rotate the locking element with notches or the lever by unlocking the lever from one of the notches and by locking it with the other notch at clip-in.

  • Publication number: 20230166176
Abstract: A binding for a snowboard, a kitesurf or a wakeboard, including a base, a highback that is movable around a first axis of rotation mounted on the base and a lever, of which a power lever arm controls, rotatably relative to the base, a resistance lever arm that cooperates with the highback to move it around the first axis of rotation between an open position and a closed position. The lever pivots around a second axis of rotation mounted on a bow of the base and in opposition to a toe strap relative to the first axis of rotation so that the power lever arm can be used as a ramp in counterforce against a stopper of the toe strap to move the highback between the open position and the closed position.

  • Patent number: 9669284
Abstract: Described herein is a sports board for gliding over a surface. The board includes an upper structural layer having an outer surface, a lower structural layer, a core having an upper surface substantially covered by the upper structural layer and a lower surface substantially covered by the lower structural layer. The board also includes a deformable element covered by the core on an upper surface. A first portion of the deformable element protrudes a distance beneath the lower structural layer towards a horizontal plane of the surface underlying the sports board. The board also includes a base element substantially covering the lower structural layer and the deformable element and an edge component positioned at least in part around a perimeter of the base element. At least a portion of the deformable element can deform upon application of an amount of pressure against the base element.
