Patents Assigned to Nielsen Innovation
  • Patent number: 8468649
Abstract: The joint system comprises a first piece secured to a driven tool and suitable for pivoting about a horizontal axis, and a second piece secured to a manual steering member and articulated to the first piece about an axis orthogonal to the horizontal axis. According to the invention, at least the second piece is formed by a flexible structure having a longitudinal neutral axis and including a base fastened to the first piece of the tool, and a head fastened to the member; said base and said head being interconnected via a pair of splines that are opposite and parallel to the neutral axis and that extend in a plane transverse to the horizontal axis, it being possible for said pair to be flexed under the effect of a force applied orthogonally to its plane and transmitted by the manual member. The invention applies to the field of household electrical appliances.

  • Patent number: 7356873
Abstract: The invention provides a vacuum cleaner comprising in particular a structure mounted on transport members (R, R?) and carrying an electrically-driven turbine (T) for acting through a filter membrane (M) to establish suction in a collector (S) of particles picked up from the floor and entrained to the collector by a flow of air via a transfer duct (C), characterized in that said turbine (T) comprises a set of blades (P) and a nozzle (1) having a box constituted by an upstream portion (11) in the form of a volute centered on the axis of the blades and a diverging downstream portion (12) into which the upstream portion opens out and that communicates with the outside.

  • Publication number: 20070101536
Abstract: A cordless vacuum cleaner including a structure mounted on transport members, a turbine carried by the structure, a beater brush secured to the structure and connected to a collector via a first duct, a suction device connected to the collector via a flexible second duct, means for selectively putting the first duct or the coupling for the second duct into communication with the collector, a first motor for driving the turbine, a second motor for driving the beater brush, an electrical circuit for powering the motors from a battery carried by said structure, and a three-position control member. When the control member is in a third position, the two motors are powered in series.
