Abstract: An equalization shutoff valve includes a housing having an outward extending flange around an open end of the housing, retaining clips attached to the flange configured to engage a battery pack compartment, and piston guides disposed inside the housing; a piston having guide notches engaging the piston guides, and a first flow port; a spring disposed between the housing and the piston to urge the piston in a direction away from a closed end of the housing; and a locking tab cover attached to the housing with the piston inside the housing, and having a second flow port and locking tabs with clip ports. The housing is attached to the battery pack compartment through the retaining clips so that air flows from inside the battery pack compartment, and when pressure inside the housing increases, increased pressure pushes the spring and the piston to allow air to exit from the housing.

Abstract: A modular latching system includes a panel having recessed pockets spaced apart from each other and having lock holes therein; a housing having insert assemblies on one side of the housing, the insert assemblies being spaced apart from each other to be inserted into the recessed pockets; locking members located in each of the insert assemblies and including lock tabs engaging the lock holes, and slide locks attached to the lock tabs so that when the insertion assemblies are inserted into the recessed pockets, the lock tabs enter the lock holes to lock the housing to the panel; and a release lever disposed in the housing and engaging the slide locks so that when the release lever is pushed, the slide locks move to disengage the lock tabs from the lock holes to release the housing from the panel.

Abstract: A hose clamp includes an open ended ring body having a first engagement pin located at one end portion, a second engagement pin located at another end portion, and a retaining clip located adjacent the first engagement pin; and a connecting lever detachably attached to the ring body, and including a lever body having a first pivot notch located on one end, a second pivot notch spaced away from the first pivot notch, and a clipping slot located at another end. The first notch of the lever is connected to the first engagement pin of the ring, and the second notch is connected to the second engagement pin of the ring. When the lever is rotated relative to the ring body, the first notch pivots around the first engagement pin and the second notch of the lever pulls the second engagement pin around the first engagement pin.

Abstract: A fuel pump cover apparatus includes a fuel pump assembly configured to be attached to a fuel tank, and a lock ring disposed on the fuel pump assembly configured to fix the fuel pump assembly to the fuel tank and having a plurality of slots. A cover ring is placed over the lock ring and includes a plurality of clipping devices disposed under the cover ring to be attached to the slots of the lock ring, and spring retainers disposed under the cover ring to apply pressure between the cover ring and the fuel pump assembly. A cover is disposed over the cover ring to cover the fuel pump assembly, and a plurality of retaining members is arranged between the cover and the cover ring to removably attach the cover to the cover ring.

Abstract: A vapor particle separator includes a housing having an inlet port in fluid communication with the outlet of the fuel tank, an outlet port in fluid communication with the inlet port of the vapor canister and a drain port in fluid communication with the filler neck. The inlet port has deflector ribs and a centralized nose cone creating a straight flow path resulting in less restriction in the fuel vapor flow. As the mixture flows along the inlet passage, it is forced through the deflection ribs and nose cone at which time the droplets and vapors are separated. The separated droplets and vapors flow from the inlet passage into the inlet pipe. The outlet passage and the drain portion allow the lite weight vapors to rise up into the outlet passage and out the outlet portion while gravity pulls the heavier weight droplets down into the return portion.

Abstract: A power transfer system includes a port panel assembly including a port panel, a locating pocket formed in the port panel, locking ports arranged in the locating pocket, and terminal assemblies attached to a rear side of the locating pocket and having conductive terminals, and a power transfer assembly having a transfer housing with access ports and terminal retainers, latches housed in the transfer housing to engage the locking ports, a spring arranged between the latches and pressing the latches to protrude outwardly from the transfer housing through the access ports, and connection members arranged in the terminal retainer and adapted be connected to an electric device. When the power transfer assembly is inserted into the port panel assembly, tip portions of the latches are inserted into the locking ports to be secured to the port panel assembly, and the connection members contact the conductive terminals of the port panel.

Abstract: A latch assembly for closing a door of a glovebox compartment includes a key cylinder having an eccentric shaft; a striker connected to the key cylinder to form a scotch-yoke connection to the eccentric shaft so that a rotation of the key cylinder is transformed to a linear movement of the striker; and a pair of latching members to lock the door. The pair of latching members includes a first latching member having an operation portion to engage or disengage from the striker, and a second latching member connected to the first latching member to simultaneously move with the first latching member. The key cylinder rotates to switch between an unlocked state in which the striker engages the operation portion and a locked state in which the striker is disengaged from the operation portion.

Abstract: A socket grommet formed from fiber-reinforced material, for attaching a stud pin with a head portion to a bracket, includes a body member; a first supporting member for supporting one side of the head portion; and second supporting members for supporting another side of the head portion. The first supporting member includes a supporting portion on one side of the body member and connecting portions connecting the supporting portion to the body member. Each connecting portion includes a breaking portion having a thickness less than a remaining portion thereof to be breakable upon a predetermined force. Each second supporting member includes a first connecting piece extending from the body member to another side of the body member, and a second connecting piece extending from the first connecting piece to the one side of the body member and having a supporting piece for contacting the another side of the head portion.

Abstract: A cup holder including a case for receiving a cup, having an opening and a bottom opposite to the opening; a rotational arm including a first arm member rotatably connected to the case, and a second arm member rotatably connected to the first arm member and having a retaining member for holding the cup; and a platform slidably arranged in the case to move between a first position in which the platform is positioned at the opening of the case, and a second position in which the platform is positioned at the bottom of the case, the platform an abutting portion extending downwardly therefrom to abut against the first arm member. When the platform moves from the first position to the second position, the abutting portion abuts against the first arm member to rotate the rotational arm toward the case and the retaining member is disposed inside the case.

Abstract: A coupling clamp includes a pair of holding members for holding a pair of tubular members to be arranged parallel to each other. The pair of holding members includes a first holding member having an engaging portion extending vertically from one side surface of the first holding member, and a second holding member having an engaged portion extending vertically from one side surface of the second holding member facing the one side surface of the first holding member. The engaging portion and the engaged portion are engaged in a vertical direction relative to a length direction of the pair of holding members such that the first holding member relatively slides to the second holding member and the first holding member is arranged adjacent to the second holding member.

Abstract: A clip adapted to be connected to a connected member with a hole includes a base, an engaging section extending from the base, and an insertion section fixed to the engaging section at a side opposite to the base and adapted to be inserted into the hole of the connected member. The engaging section includes an engaging leg extending from the base, and having a first enlarged portion adapted to engage the hole of the connected member, and a beam formed near the insertion section to extend inwardly toward the center axis and connected to the insertion section, and a pair of engaging members extending from the base along the engaging leg and disposed perpendicular to the engaging leg so that the engaging leg is disposed between the pair of engaging members along a circumferential direction of the engaging section.

Abstract: A push lifter includes a body portion; a rod slidably disposed inside the body portion; an urging portion to urge the rod in a direction away from the body portion; and a rotator disposed rotatably about an axial of the rod at the one end of the body portion to lock or unlock the rod. The rod includes a first rib portion, and a second rib portion distanced from the first rib portion in an axial direction of the rod, to rotate the rotator. The rotator includes an inner cam portion so that when the rod is pressed to slide inwardly of the body portion, the first rib portion abuts against the inner cam portion to rotate the rotator, and when the rod is released to project outwardly from the body portion, the second rib portion abuts against the inner cam portion to rotate the rotator.
