    Abstract: A susceptor [1] is manufactured by providing a protruding part [8] on the joining surface of a retainer plate [4], and additionally providing a groove part [9] composed of a dovetail groove on the joining surface of a heat transfer plate [3] in a position facing the protruding part [8]. By fitting the protruding part [8] into the groove part [9] and caulking, the heat transfer plate [3] and the retainer plate [4] are conjoined.

    Abstract: An electric heating appliance which is provided with a connecting terminal selecting circuit for the purpose of generating heat in an electric heater in a negative cycle of a commercial AC power source no matter which pole of a plug is connected to a grounding electrode of the power source when the plug is inserted into a plug socket of the power source, the connecting terminal selecting circuit consisting of a delay switch circuit adapted to insulate a heater circuit from the power source for a predetermined period of time when a power source switch is turned on, a heater potential detecting circuit adapted to detect the grounding electrode of the power source, and a change-over switch circuit adapted to connect the anode of an electric power controlling rectifying element for controlling the electric heater to the grounding electrode of the AC power source in accordance with an output signal from the heater potential detecting circuit.

    Abstract: The hermetic packaging apparatus comprises a nozzle for reducing pressure in a thermoplastic packaging bag containing certain contents, the nozzle reduces pressure in the packaging bag by the pressure control of the air pump and the water sucked from the contents is directed to a strainer tank. Thereafter, the nozzle moves backward, the opening of the packaging bag is heated by a heating element, and an airtight pressure connecting bar is pressured downward so that the opening portion is heat-sealed by the airtight pressure connecting bar and the sealing base.
