Patent number: 11123557Abstract: An electric stimulator that effectively improves the brain function of patients suffering from brain disorders by applying electric stimulation to the brain of the patient effectively. The electric stimulator can include main electrodes H to be stuck to particular sites of the patient's body extending from the neck part to the head tip part. The particular site may be the temple part, the forehead part above the eyes, the cheek part and the rear neck part. The electric signal to be applied to the main electrodes H is set so as for weak electric current of 100 ?A or less to flow through the patient's body and stimulate the brain. In addition to the application of electric stimulation by the main electrodes H, auxiliary electrodes S may be stuck to the back of the patient.Type: GrantFiled: February 1, 2018Date of Patent: September 21, 2021Assignees: NIHON MEDIX Co., Ltd.Inventors: Kensuke Yamakawa, Norikazu Yoshioka, Hitoshi Aoki

Publication number: 20080039790Abstract: An elastic tube (40) is connected to the base end portion of a catheter main body (1) having a balloon (2) at its top end portion. When the elastic tube (40) is set at a vibrator device (RP), the end portion side of the elastic tube, projecting outside, works as a margin volume part (40A). A roller (53) of the vibrator device (RP) can have a shut-off state where the elastic tube (40) is pressed and completely closed, and a communication state where the elastic tube cannot be pressed. When the roller (53) is rotated in a predetermined direction with the inside of a route from the balloon (2) up to the elastic tube (40) filled up with a liquid for heating, the liquid in the elastic tube (40) is pressed toward the margin volume part (40A) in the shut-off state, while in the communication state, the pressurized heating liquid in the margin volume part (40A) flows backward to the balloon (2) side. Repeating the pressurizing and the backward flow vibrates the heating liquid in the balloon (2).Type: ApplicationFiled: January 29, 2004Publication date: February 14, 2008Applicant: NIHON MEDIX Co., Ltd.Inventor: Kazunari Hasebe

Patent number: 4976116Abstract: Disclosed is a cold-air generating device which comprises a first refrigerating system 15 including a first evaporator 1 and a compressor 4 and adapted to cool air to such a degree that the water contained therein will not become frozen, and a second refrigerating system 26 including a second evaporator 2 and a compressor 16 and adapted to further refrigerate the air dehumidified and cooled while passing through the first evaporator 1 down to a temperature below freezing point. Air inlets 27 and 28 may be provided in the upper sections of the first and second evaporators 1 and 2, respectively, so that a downward airflow will be generated therein, the respective lower sections of the first and second evaporators 1 and 2 being connected to each other through a drain pan 3. Furthermore, gauze 29 may be provided on that side of the second evaporator 2 which is connected to the first evaporator 1.Type: GrantFiled: June 23, 1989Date of Patent: December 11, 1990Assignee: Nihon Medix Co., Ltd.Inventors: Masaharu Hayama, Kenji Takaoka, Yasushi Torai, Toshiharu Fukada
