Patents Assigned to Nihon Spindle Seizo Kabushiki Kaisha
  • Patent number: 4627224
Abstract: A method of packing a semisolid compound into a bag comprising the steps of precooling a high temperature semisolid compound to such a temperature at which it can maintain the desired viscosity, filling said precooled semisolid compound into a packing bag made of synthetic resin while cooling its outer surface with water, heat-sealing an opening part of the bag, putting the bag in a water tank for cooling, removing the cooled bag and transporting it, and an apparatus for carrying out the above-described method.

  • Patent number: 4010907
Abstract: An apparatus for automatically supplying cops to a winder includes a cop-feeder which moves along a track of the winder, the cop-feeder including means for stopping same in registry with each winding unit of the winder, storage for cops, a cop-feed-out section, a charging section for transferring cops from the feed-out section to the magazines of the winder, and means for grasping a yarn end and transferring same to a fresh cop. The apparatus also can determine whether a magazine has its full supply of cops, selectively halting the cop-feeder only at magazines which have an incomplete complement of cops and supplying the needed number of cops to the magazines. The travelling mechanism permits the feeder to stop only at every other magazine during a run in one direction along the track and at the remaining magazines on the return trip. Provision is made for feeding cops to magazines while the magazines are in rotation.

  • Patent number: 3966141
Abstract: A fully automated apparatus is provided for processing yarn ends of cops to an automatic winder. The apparatus is adapted for use in combination with a cop feeder which travels along the winder and intermittently and successively charges cops supplied thereto into a number of winder magazines mounted in juxtaposition in the automatic winder. The apparatus is adapted to effect a remaining of the yarn end of the bunch winding of each cop and to draw out the yarn end therefrom. As the yarn end is drawn from the cop the extended yarn is guided toward a suction opening in the magazine and engaged by a cutting member proximate the suction opening to effect a cutting of the yarn causing the yarn to be gripped by the suction opening which then supplies the yarn to said automatic winders.

  • Patent number: 3933320
Abstract: This invention relates to a method and an apparatus for automatically supplying cops to a thread winder wherein the inefficient manual operation of supplying the cops one by one into each of the cop-holding magazines mounted in juxtaposition to the thread winder can be dispensed with. To this end, the apparatus of the invention comprises, as an essential component, a travelling cop feeder with means for sequentially feeding a number of cops from a cop-containing section through a cop feed-out section thereof, means for receiving and holding the cops by a cop-holding and charging section mounted in the cop-receiving position below said feed-out section and transferring them automatically alongside the thread winder, means for stopping said charging section in a position registering with each cop-holding magazine in the thread winder by a stop position control device, and means for charging the cops into the cop pocket in said magazine.
