The present invention provides a cosmetic comprising the following components (A) and (B): (A) ultrafine cellulose fibers having a fiber width of 1000 nm or less; and (B) a water-soluble polymer.

The polyglycerol fatty acid ester preferably has an HLB value.ltoreq.8. The emulsifier composition can additionally contain a lipophilic emulsifier.
