  • Patent number: 6675124
Abstract: Steering angle detecting apparatus of a steering is constituted to dispense with reexecution of initial setting by a simple angle sensor. CPU is connected with an MR sensor attached to a rotating member rotated in cooperation with a steering shaft for detecting a periodic angular position and CPU subjects data from the MR sensor to an operation processing by using a reference position stored to an involatile data storing portion to thereby calculate an absolute steering angle including a number of an order of turns. When an ignition is made OFF, there is constituted a low current consumption mode for carrying out calculation by intermittent operation and power source to the MR sensor is made OFF by a sensor switch. The reference position is stored to the involatile data storing portion and therefore, even after detaching and attaching a battery, initial setting is dispensed with.

  • Patent number: 6610939
Abstract: To make it possible to provide a switch which can adjust ON/OFF switching positions easily and which can suppress wear to enhance the durability, there is provided an inhibitor switch for detecting the shift position of an automatic transmission. From a pole board, there are protruded insulator portions of an insulator having sliding faces on their surfaces. Sliding faces are provided with recesses for reducing facial pressures. When a moving contact slides with respect to a stationary contact to ON/OFF switching positions, the moving contact starts to ride on the insulator portions so that the moving contact goes out of contact with the stationary contact and can move from the sliding faces into the recesses. When the moving contact goes down the insulator portions, the moving contact contacts with the ON/OFF switching positions of the stationary contact.

  • Publication number: 20030026439
Abstract: In the invention, it is possible to hear a voice and music of a portable audio device such as a portable telephone, an MD player, etc. in a hand free state without mounting an additional amplifier kind. Therefore, a plug transmitter is plugged into a cigar lighter socket arranged in a console portion or an arm of a side door. An external output terminal of a portable audio device such as an MD player is connected to the plug transmitter by an audio cable. A transmitting circuit is built in the plug transmitter, and receives electric power from the cigar lighter socket, and transmits an audio output from the portable audio device as a radio wave in a receiving frequency band of an AM radio mounted to an automobile. Thus, it is possible to enjoy music from a speaker within the automobile. If a portable telephone is connected to the plug transmitter, a talk can be carried out in a hand free state.
