    Abstract: This invention relates to a laborsaving lighter, and more particularly relates to a laborsaving and safe lighter, which includes a casing (101), and a piezoelectric assembly and a gas emitting assembly disposed in the casing. The piezoelectric assembly includes a piezoelectric push rod (104) and a button (105). A vertical slot opening (106) is formed in the end face of the button (105), and a safety piece (107) is disposed in the slot opening (106). There is a rock arm (109) between the gas emitting assembly and the safety piece (107). In the lighter's non-operative state, the upper end of the rock arm (109) rests against the lower part (107a) of the safety piece (107). The middle part of the rock arm is contacted with the piezoelectric push rod (104), and the lower end of the rock arm is connected pivotally to the inner surface of the casing (101). According to the principle of lever, the present invention is laborsaving as well as safety.

    Abstract: An electronic lighter with locking device comprises a gas storage chamber (13), a piezoelectric unit (15) and a gas outlet assembly (16) above the chamber. The piezoelectric unit includes a snapper (8) and a piezoelectric chunk (11). The gas outlet assembly (16) includes a pry plate (2) and a gas outlet valve (3). A slot (9) is made on the snapper (8), which has a circular open groove (92) at its end. A swinging button (7) is provided inside the slot (9), which is able to rotate and equipped with a long arm (72) that is able to rotate around the open groove (92). The piezoelectric chunk has a protrusion (111). When lighter is at a locking position, the button (7) is not allowed to move downward because its long arm (72) is located above the protrusion (111). For assuring the safety of lighter and preventing from incorrect operation, combined with the snapper, a locking mechanism is provided in this invention.

    Abstract: A locking lever for a lighter actuation mechanism prevents the actuator from operating when in a locked position. Operation of the lever causes a portion of the lever to be withdrawn from a housing portion of the lighter and permit the actuator to be moved and operated. The lever mechanism is spring loaded so that the end of the lever normally extends into the lighter housing in a locked position. A top portion of the lever is flattened and curved to prevent intuitive operation by a child, while permitting an adult to easily disengage the locking mechanism. An end portion of the locking lever has a sloped profile to move the lever in an upward direction when the actuator device is returned to a normal position after operating the lighter. When the lighter actuator returns to a normal position, the spring loaded lever again extends into the housing of the lighter to prevent accidental operation.

    Abstract: A gas lighter with a locking device of q-shape for reliably preventing ignition of the lighter when the actuator is in its locked position, and allowing ignition of the lighter when the locking device is moved from the locked position to a second unlocked position. The piezoelectric device has a step, and an end portion of the locking device contacts with the step in its locked position. When the users operate the locking device, the end portion of the locking device can be disengaged from the step. When the locking device is in its unlocked position, the actuator of the gas lighter can be pressed down to ignite the gas lighter. When the external force is missing, the locking device returns to a normal locking position by the spring force of the piezoelectric device. According to the present invention, the safety of the gas lighter is improved and the potential safety hazard due to an unintentional operation is eliminated.
