Abstract: Input data containing at least strain data corresponding to deformation of an input apparatus or motion data corresponding to a motion or orientation of the input apparatus, is obtained from the input apparatus. Based on the motion data, a first object is caused to move in a virtual space or an orientation of the first object in the virtual space is changed. Based on the strain data, the first object is caused to perform a predetermined action in the virtual space.
Abstract: An information processing apparatus includes a computer. The computer subsequently images a user, makes an evaluation of first image data indicating an image obtained by subsequently imaging, and displays the evaluation result on an LCD by subsequently updating the same.
Abstract: Data which is output from an input device capable of allowing a body of a user to get thereon and is based on a load applied on the input device is usable. Data is acquired from the input device is processed. A center-of-gravity position of a load applied on the input device is repeatedly acquired based on data output from the input device. A user direction a stepping action made on the input device is calculated using the center-of-gravity position. Predetermined processing is performed based on the user direction.
Abstract: A display device 12 covered by a touch panel 13 displays a game space on a display screen. Position coordinates (tx, ty) obtained when the touch panel 13 is touch-operated are detected at a predetermined periodic cycle. At least one of a movement speed (V) and a movement direction (?) is calculated as a movement parameter for a second object based on current position coordinates (tx, ty) and position coordinates (tpx, tpy) having been detected in an immediately preceding time. A new movement parameter (V and ?) is determined using movement parameters having been previously determined (Vp and ?p) and the newly calculated movement parameter (V and ?). When the first object and the second object satisfy a predetermined positional relationship therebetween, the second object is moved and display-controlled based on the updated movement parameter.
