    Abstract: Conventionally, polyether pendant dimethyl polysiloxane and linear polyether-polysiloxane-polyether block copolymer have been frequently proposed and dominantly used in cosmetic formulations. In this invention, non-hydrolyzing block copolymers comprising a linear polysiloxane-polyoxyalkylene block as a repeating unit are used as a main component of cosmetic formulations used in skin care products and hair care products.
