Abstract: An emergency stop apparatus includes a detecting device for detecting an obstacle intruding into a predetermined area around a working machine, an actuator fixed to a vehicle body of the construction machine or a member attached to the vehicle body, a coupling member for coupling an output shaft of the actuator with a brake pedal, and an electronic control unit. When the obstacle is detected by the detecting device, the electronic control unit actuates the actuator to move the brake pedal in an actuation direction of the service brake.

Abstract: A method for dusting-preventive treatment of a dusting material using a dust-preventive treatment agent including a PTFE aqueous dispersion having lower potential for environmental concerns, which method is as effective as a known method and further has a lower possibility of environmental concerns, and the dust-preventive treated material obtained by treating the dusting material by the method. The method involves mixing a dust preventing treatment composition composed of an aqueous dispersion of polytetrafluoroethylene containing 50 ppm or less of a fluorine-containing emulsifier with the dusting material and then forming fibrils of polytetrafluoroethylene by applying a compression/shear force to the mixture above at a temperature of about 20° C. to 200° C.

Abstract: A solar heat cutoff asphalt pavement road is provided by applying a coating composition comprising (a) a resin as a binder and (b) at least one blackish pigment having a solar radiation reflectance defined by JIS A 5759 of not less than 15% and an L* value in CIE 1976 L*a*b* color space of not larger than 30, onto the substantially entire surface of said pavement to form a coated top surface layer on the pavement.
