Abstract: A method for producing a phosphate diester or a phosphate triester is provided in which the phosphate diester or the phosphate triester can be produced from phosphoric acid and a hydroxy compound. Phosphoric acid and a phenol, which is used in excess with respect to the phosphoric acid, are subjected to dehydrating condensation with heating and refluxing. Water released during this dehydrating condensation is adsorbed onto a dehydrating material, which is an adsorbent derived from concrete sludge, disposed somewhere in the refluxing channel, thereby producing a phosphate diester or a phosphate triester.

  • Publication number: 20100284881
Abstract: A dephosphorization material is formed from concrete sludge resulting from centrifugal casting of concrete products, production of concrete, cleaning of concrete production equipment, or cleaning of concrete transporting vehicles. The dephosphorization material is used for dephosphorization treatment by a dephosphorization apparatus that includes a single reaction tank provided with a wastewater supply means, a dephosphorization material supply mean, and a recovery means. The dephosphorization apparatus removes phosphorus from phosphorus-containing wastewater, such as sewage water, based on the formula 10Ca2++6PO43?+2OH??Ca10(PO4)6(OH)2 and recovers through the recovery means a dephosphorization by-product that precipitates as crystals as a result of the reaction.

  • Patent number: 4195487
Abstract: This invention relates to foundation work of structures in a very cold district, especially to a method of preventing the upward movement of foundation pillars in weak ground in which concrete piles are required as foundation pillars. Concrete piles are driven to a permanent frozen stratum passing through a weak stratum which repeats freeze and melt conditions according to the atmospheric change and the like, and then the concrete piles themselves are cooled artificially or by utilizing the ultra-low temperature of the permanent frozen stratum during the period of refreeze of the weak stratum in order to make frozen parts in the weak stratum around each concrete pile.

  • Patent number: 4144942
Abstract: This invention relates to a method of setting a pile without causing any noise or vibration. A hollow pile is erected along a leader fixed on the ground, a screw auger is inserted through the hollow center of the pile, the screw auger is hung on the leader in such a manner that it can freely move up and down and freely rotate, and the pile is sunk by its own weight as the soil below the bottom of the pile is excavated and the excavated soil is carried above the ground. The present invention further relates to an apparatus for executing the above method. The lower part of the screw auger is constructed in such a manner that it is divided into two parts, inner tube and outer tube, and both tubes can rotate through a certain angle and move up and down in a certain range relatively to each other.

  • Patent number: 4116012
Abstract: The present invention relates to a process of setting a concrete pile without noise or vibration which is thereby effective to decrease city noises. A concrete pile is sunk into a leading hole substantially concurrently with the progress of the excavation thereof. After the pile has been sunk through a desired distance, another supporting hole is excavated below the pile. A solidifying material, such as cement milk, mortar, or cement concrete including a cement expansion agent of calcium sulfoaluminate system or lime system, is poured into the supporting hole. The solidifying material is expanded within the supporting hole and permeates into the circumferential wall thereof, which is loosened by the excavation, so as to retighten the wall. Therefore, sufficient supporting force can be obtained.

  • Patent number: 4048805
Abstract: This invention relates to a concrete pile having a steel plate, of a semi-cylindrical shape, integrally fixed at the outer periphery thereof. The steel plate has a number of connectors protruding beyond the inner surface so as to thrust into concrete. The connectors are formed by performing the incomplete blanking of the steel plate. When the concrete pile is subjected to a concentrated load or a large bending moment, it can be reinforced by means of the steel plate. The operation of attaching a waling to the concrete pile can be also easily performed through means of the steel plate.

  • Patent number: 4033080
Abstract: This invention relates to a concrete pole having a reinforcing band and a cylindrical projection, protruding upward, at the outer periphery of the upper end, and a method of replacing the lower part of a wood pole with the said concrete pole. In order to replace the lower part of a wood pole, the lower part is first cut away from the upper part of the wood pole in use, and pulled out of the ground. Subsequently, the concrete pole is driven instead of the removed lower wood pole. Thereafter, the lower end of the upper wood pole is inserted into the cylindrical projection so as to be integrally connected with the concrete pole.
