Patents Assigned to Nippon Kouatsu Electric Co.
  • Patent number: 9541526
Abstract: The device has a processor (20) that applies a magnetic field to a measurement subject (2) and after the magnetic field is discontinued, uses an induced electromotive force detector (17) to measure the magnetic fluxes emitted from multiple locations, calculates time constants of transient change of the plurality of magnetic fluxes, and detects the internal structure of the measurement subject (2) from the distribution of the time constants. The processor (20) prompts the induced electromotive force detector (17) to make first measurements at predetermined locations, prompts the induced electromotive force detector (17) to make second measurements at locations rotated by a predetermined angle from the predetermined locations, and based on the internal structure detected by the first measurements and the internal structure detected by the second measurements, estimates the center location of the nugget and/or the diameter of the nugget which has been formed inside the measurement subject (2).

  • Patent number: 7562782
Abstract: A beverage container enabling a flavored tea to be tasted is provided when a powdered tea stored normally in a sealed container of a cap and a drinking water in a body are blended. The cap is provided on the body. When the cap is rotated, a force is imparted on a pressing rod extending from the bottom surface of the container. This force causes a mechanically weak portion in the bottom of the container to break, thus allowing a mixture to fall from the container into the drinking water.

  • Patent number: 7330033
Abstract: A noncontact voltage sensor is housed in a container comprising a container body having an opening on one side and an insulation cover body for sealing the opening. A plate type electrode insulated from a ground is housed in the container. The cover body side is opposed to a charging part of such as cables of an aerial line. A voltage is induced in the plate type electrode due to aerial electric charges between the charging part and the plate type electrode in the container, allowing detection of the voltage in the charging part. The cover body of the noncontact sensor is made of a fluorine containing resin such as an ethylene tetrafluoride resin to prevent a water film from forming on the outside surface of the insulation cover body and causing deterioration of the detection.

  • Patent number: 7256977
Abstract: This invention aims at preventing a thunderbolt attack detecting circuit from determining that no thunderbolt is approaching because the thunderbolt attack detecting circuit turns to its initial condition due to power interruption caused by an approaching thunderbolt and is changed over into a normal condition in the thunderbolt approaching status maintained. This thunderbolt disaster protecting apparatus includes a thunderbolt attack detecting circuit for determining whether or not any thunderbolt is approaching by detecting a thunderbolt signal and a switching mechanism for changing over to the normal condition in which a protection object device is connected to an electrical path or to thunderbolt resisting condition in which the protection object device is separated from the electric path.

  • Patent number: 6597180
Abstract: A fault point location system comprises substation 1 installed along transmission and distribution line (TD line) to send a surge detection time (SD time), and master station 2 locates fault points based on the information. Substation 1 stores and updates past voltage or current waveforms of the TD line, stores a surge recognition level L2 (higher than a noise level), and a surge waveform starting level L1 (set lower than level L2), determines as the SD time, in the case where the voltage or current of the TD line exceeds level L2, the time at which the voltage or current first exceeded level L1 after going back through the waveforms stored from the time at which the surge recognition level was exceeded, and sends the SD time to master station 2 via the communication network.

  • Patent number: 6477475
Abstract: A fault point location system comprising substations 1 to send information of transmission and distribution lines, and the master station 2 to locate fault points under the information. Substation 1 detects a surge detection time and the surge current polarity. Master 2 identifies a no-branch fault section under the polarity, and identifies the fault point under a difference among detection times of substations 1 at both ends of the section, and the section length.
