Patents Assigned to Nippon Ozone Co., Ltd.
  • Patent number: 5797872
Abstract: Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for use in the method for treating cow's mastitis by means of quite a different novel chemotherapy without relying on drugs such as existing antibiotics. In order to inject ozone through a teat orifice 17 of a breast 18 into the interior of the breast 18, an ozone injecting apparatus 1 comprises an ozone generator 5 connected to an oxygen cylinder 2 or an air compressor; an ozone guide tube 13 for guiding ozone generated by the ozone generator 1; and an ozone injection nozzle 14 fitted to the tip of the guide tube 13 and intended to be inserted into the teat orifice 17.

  • Patent number: 5417936
Abstract: A plate-type ozone generator having a discharge cell including a box-shaped casing formed by using a dielectric of a quartz containing silicon dioxide having a purity of not less than 99.9%, a discharging gap defined by the interior of the casing, and a flow passage for a material gas defined in the discharging gap by a partition made of a quartz. A material gas inlet section and an ozone outlet section are provided on the discharge cell for communicating with the discharging gap. Each section has a quartz tube and a stainless steel tube joined together by a fused joint made of a covar glass and a covar alloy. The ozone generator does not employ a gasket made of an organic compound or the like, and is capable of stably generating high-concentration high-purity ozone for a long period of time without the risk of leakage.

  • Patent number: 4725412
Abstract: An ozone generator has a construction in which: an outer and an inner sleeves made of fused quartz or ordinary glass are mounted inside a casing of the generator, which sleeves are substantially concentrically arranged to form an air gap therebetween, while conducting films are formed on the outer periphery of the outer sleeve and the inner periphery of the inner sleeve to provide opposite discharge electrodes an inner one of which is grounded and an outer one of which is connected to high voltage side of an electric source, to which air gap a raw gas is fed while electrical discharge is conducted between these electrodes to produce ozonized gas from the raw gas.
