  • Patent number: 6291369
Abstract: A soft, meshed, electromagnetic shielding textile sheet is placed in a mold, and the mold is clamped. The soft, meshed electromagnetic shielding textile sheet is shaped so as to conform with the inner surface of the mold when the mold is clamped. Therefore, it is not necessary to fabricate beforehand any insert of a shape corresponding to that of the inner surface of the mold. Since the meshed, electromagnetic shielding textile sheet is impregnated with part of a resin injected into the mold to form an injection-molded resin body, the adhesion of the electromagnetic shielding textile sheet to the injection-molded resin body is improved.

  • Patent number: 6292279
Abstract: The invention provides a hologram recording or replicating optical system wherein a misalignment-with-time of the center of a laser generated beam is automatically corrected so that the color balance in a color hologram surface, for instance, can be well maintained with no disturbance. In the hologram recording or replicating optical system for irradiating a photosensitive material 20 with a beam from a laser 31 through a pinhole 10, a beam position correcting mechanism 32 and a beam splitter 33 are located in an optical path between the laser 31 and the pinhole 10, and a laser beam position detector 35 is located at a position in an optical path split by the beam splitter 33 and conjugate to the pinhole 10, so that the beam position correcting mechanism 32 can be operated on the basis of a beam position error signal obtained from the laser beam position detector 35 to keep the position of the beam incident on the pinhole 10 always constant.

  • Patent number: 6292294
Abstract: A rear projection screen including a Fresnel lens sheet arranged on the projection side, and a lenticular lens sheet arranged on the observation side. The Fresnel lens sheet has a lenticular lens for vertical diffusion on its light-entering side. The lenticular lens for vertical diffusion containing a plurality of convex lenses that extend horizontally, and these plural convex lenses are arranged with a constant pitch. Further, the diffusion angle of the lenticular lens for vertical diffusion continuously increases, and, at the same time, the direction of diffusion is gradually inclined to the central part as the distance from the central part toward each of the edges on the screen surface increases. The diffusion properties (the angle and direction of diffusion) of the lenticular lens thus continuously vary between the central part and the edges of the screen surface.

  • Patent number: 6291109
Abstract: A duplicating photosensitive material film is brought into close contact with an ND glass reduced in thickness so as to become flexible or a flexible sheet or an ND glass coated with a cushioning layer through an optical contacting liquid containing a surface active agent. In addition, a spacer is interposed between a hologram original plate and a duplicating photosensitive material, and a space defined by the spacer is filled with an optical contacting liquid, thereby regulating the thickness of the optical contacting liquid layer with the spacer. Therefore, when pressure is applied, the optical contacting liquid is uniformly pressed, so that it can be made uniform and thin in thickness. Accordingly, it is possible to prevent a failure of duplication of a hologram image due to undesirable flow of the optical contacting liquid.

  • Patent number: 6270331
Abstract: In the method, after the pattern-bearing film is fed to the female mold, the distal end of the film is fixed under a lower portion of the female mold, and at the same time the film is retreated by a force from the film supply portion. Thus, this tightens up the film so that the slacks or wrinkles cannot be formed on the film. Therefore, the film can be fortunately spread around the parting surface of the female mold. In the apparatus, the film suppressing frame is pressed to the female mold through the sliding rod arranged in the female mold, in such a manner that the female mold embraces the frame. Thus, the pressing of the frame is performed by a simple structure, and the film is accurately positioned to the internal surface of the female mold. Also, the film suppressing frame is constituted to advance from and retreat to the female mold. Thus, this causes a space between the both molds and an outside standby position to be useless. A space around the apparatus can be effectively utilized.
