  • Patent number: 5385008
Abstract: A yarn break detecting device for a spinning machine includes detectors, a feed section and a control section. The detectors each include a pair of electrodes having substantially the same area and adapted to electrically induce a potential depending on static electricity charged on a yarn, a differential amplifier, a waveform shaper and an indicator lamp. The induced potential is then amplified and rectified to turn on the indicator lamp and concurrently fed to a microprocessor in the control section for operation processing, resulting in positions at which yarn break occurs and the number of yarn breaks being indicated.

  • Patent number: 4881062
Abstract: A device for detecting break of any of a plurality of yarns arranged closely to each other in a spinning or weaving machine such as loom, knitting machine, warping machine, etc., includes sensor electrodes disposed in correspondence to the respective yarns, high-input-resistance amplifiers, separators and a logic circuit, in which each yarn is let runs between adjacent separators. When any of the yarns is caused to stop running due to trouble such as a break, the output of the corresponding high-input resistance amplifier becomes high in potential and a signal is issued to the output of the logic circuit to thereby stop the machine while giving an alarm.

  • Patent number: 4566163
Abstract: An automatic supervisory system for a warper comprising one or more detection units for detecting abnormality on the yarns to be wound up on the warper and a central control unit including means for indicating and recording the substance of abnormality and shutting down the warper drive upon detection of the abnormality. The detection unit comprises a detector, an amplifier and a priority indication device, and the central control unit includes indicators, counters and a switching mechanism. The indicator in the priority indication device is lighted by an output signal from the amplifier in the detection unit. This is synchronized with lighting of the pertinent indicator and operation of the corresponding counter in the central control unit, and the switching mechanism is also activated to stop the warping machine bed.
