    Abstract: A method of forming an Al—Zn—Si—Mg alloy coating on a steel strip includes dipping steel strip into a bath of molten Al—Zn—Si—Mg alloy and forming a coating of the alloy on exposed surfaces of the steel strip. The method also includes controlling conditions in the molten coating bath and downstream of the coating bath so that there is a uniform Al/Zn ratio across the surface of the coating formed on the steel strip. An Al—Zn—Mg—Si coated steel strip includes a uniform Al/Zn ratio on the surface or the outermost 1-2 ?m of the Al—Zn—Si—Mg alloy coating.

    Abstract: A surface-treated steel material having cut edge corrosion resistance that is equal to or more than that of a chromate treatment without use of hexavalent chromium. The surface-treated steel material includes a coating film formed on a surface of a steel material through a plating layer that is obtained by immersing the steel material in a galvalume bath containing Mg. The coating film is formed using a coating composition containing a coating film-forming resin, a cross-linking agent, a predetermined vanadium compound, and trimagnesium phosphate; the vanadium compound is a compound satisfying a predetermined electrical conductivity; the content of the vanadium compound is restricted to a predetermined amount; the vanadium compound satisfies a predetermined pH; and the content of the trimagnesium phosphate is a predetermined amount.

Right and left frame parts of the spacer are configured as straight tubular side spacers. Each of the upper and lower mounting units includes: a fixing plate to be fixed onto the upper or lower frame part of a building; mounting members connected inside respective upper or lower end portions of the side spacers such that the mounting members are slidable in an upward/downward direction; and coupling members coupling the mounting members to the fixing plate. Each of the coupling members runs, in a rightward/leftward direction, through an associated one of the mounting members and the fixing plate to couple the associated mounting member rotatably with respect to the fixing plate.
