Abstract: A carbonated shower apparatus for home use can selectively supply carbonated water in a simple manner and at low cost for bathing, hair washing, pet washing and other purposes. It comprises a mixing water tap unit (1), a carbon dioxide gas supply unit (2), a hose (3), a control valve (4) and a shower head (5).
Abstract: The constant quantity injection valve (1) comprises a valve housing (2), a first and a second valve (3, 4) respectively including valve pins (8, 9) and ring-like packings (10, 11), and a measuring chamber (5) formed in the valve housing between the two valves. The valve housing has a gas blow-out passage extending along its axis. The individual valves are located on the upstream and downstream sides (7a, 7b) of the blow-out passage, and the valve pins are axially movable and respectively include closing sections (12, 13), opening sections (14, 15) and inclined sections (16, 17) connecting the two sections. The ring-like packings are made of an elastic material with a rubber hardness of 90.degree. or above, the three sections of each of the valve pins being detachably mounted on the peripheral wall of the blow-out passage.
Abstract: A sealing plate for sealing a cartridge containing a liquified gas under pressure and having a neck with an opening with a syphon tube thereof extending from the neck into the cartridge has mounted on a side surface thereof a powdered metal cylindrical filter having a blind bore with open end closed by the plate. An integral annulus centrally disposed on the plate and projecting outwardly from a side surface of the plate mounts the filter in fixed assembly with the sealing plate. The filter is press-fitted into the annulus with its open end against the plate so that an annulus inner cylindrical surface is circumferentially disposed about the open end of the cylinder. The plate is mounted in use on the neck closing it. The cylindrical filter and the annulus around it extend into the neck and the marginal peripheral surface portion of the plate around the annulus overlies the neck closing its opening and is welded thereto to effect a seal.
Abstract: The gas supply mechanism with a safety device of the present invention uses a small size high pressure gas container. In connection with a gas passage, a safety device is installed, which allows the gas in the passage to flow out gradually when the gas pressure in the passage rises excessively. A gas discharge port of this safety device is open on the same surface as the surface of the main body and does not protrude from the body.
Abstract: An oxygen gas cartridge which hardly leaks or explodes, comprising an inner sealing plate attached to a main body thereof by calking and an outer sealing plate welded to the main body by laser beams at the outside of the inner sealing plate. As inner pressure of the cartridge increases abnormally, the inner sealing plate will curve into a space between both sealing plates to be broken first, and then the outer sealing plate will be broken next.
