Abstract: This invention relates to a multifunctional bed comprising a support assembly comprising a first support structure and a second support structure foldably connected to the first support structure through a pair of connection mechanisms; a plurality of platforms disposed on the support assembly; a lifting mechanism positioned between the frame structure and the plurality of platforms for operably adjusting positions of at least one of the plurality of platforms so as to adjust the multifunctional bed at a desired position; and a lumbar support mechanism supported by the support assembly for operably providing lumbar support.

Abstract: An adjustable bed includes a frame structure comprising: a base structure having a base body and a back support member pivotally connected to the base body; and a bed frame slidably arranged on the base body of the base structure; a driving mechanism comprising a back lifting actuator having a first end and an opposite, second end pivotally connected to the base structure and the bed frame, respectively; and a plurality of platforms including a seat platform fixed to the bed frame and a back platform hinged to the seat platform and pivotally supported by the back support member, such that in operation the back lifting actuator drives the bed frame to slidably move on the base body of the base structure, which in turn drives the back platform to translationally and rotationally move in desired positions and angels relative to the base structure.

The driving mechanism includes a housing; a driving assembly being placed in the housing and comprising at least one driving member and at least one driving block connected to the at least one driving member; and at least one transmission structure configured to connect to a lifting mechanism of the adjustable bed. The at least one transmission structure is pivotally connected to the housing and the at least one driving block, such that when the at least one driving member drives the at least one driving block to move linearly, the movement of the at least one driving block causes the at least one transmission structure to rotate.

Abstract: A control system and a bed with the control system. The control system includes a signal acquisition and processing module; a control box coupled to the signal acquisition and processing module; and a controller coupled to the control box. The signal acquisition and processing module is configured to acquire user sleep data from a user of the bed, process the acquired user sleep data, and transmit the processed user sleep data to the control box. The control box is configured to receive the processed user sleep data from the signal acquisition and processing module, generate operation instructions based on the received user sleep data, and send the operation instructions to the controller. The controller is configured to perform corresponding operations based on the operation instructions received from the control box.

The remote control includes a mode control switch having three position states including an R side position, a middle position and an L side position, and being operably slidable in one of the three position states; a monitoring unit configured to detect the position state of the mode control switch; and a control unit coupled to the monitoring unit and configured to receive the position state of the mode control switch, determine a control mode of the adjustable bed accordingly, and send a matching instruction to one or both of the first and second controllers of the first and second bed units based on the determined control mode so as to establish a matching connection of the remote control with said one or both of the first and second controllers.
