Abstract: A screen is used for an aquarium tank having a tank body, a filter unit disposed on the tank body, a case for the filter unit, and a pump mechanism having a water conducting section extending into the tank body from the underside of the case. The screen is configured so as to conceal the water conducting section at least from the front and opposite sides of the tank.
Abstract: A hinge device is used in an aquarium tank including a tank body and a lid member mounted on the tank body and having a front lid pivotably attached thereto. The hinge device includes bottomed holes formed in the opposite side surfaces of the lid member, a pair of pin members each including an abutment portion, a shaft portion and a resilient portion between the abutment portion and the shaft portion, and bearing holes formed on opposite side walls of the front lid. The front lid is pivotably attached to the lid member, with the abutment portion abutted against the bottom of the bottomed hole and the shaft portion thrust into the bearing hole by the resilient force of the resilient portion.
Abstract: A locking device is disclosed for locking a brace having an opening therethrough, which comprises a bar member adapted to extend through the opening having a groove defined therein at a spaced location from a front end of the bar member which is insertable into the brace opening. A stopping piece is rotatably mounted in the groove having a hook or abutment portion at the front end thereof engageable with a front side of the groove to limit a rotation of the stopping piece in one direction, and engaging stop and projection portions at a rear end of the stopping piece. A vertical surface is defined on the engaging stop portion for abutting the brace, to lock the brace on the bar member. The projecting portion is provided to prevent an overrotation of the stopping piece.
