Publication number: 20150037693Abstract: An air battery for use by being stacked in a battery pack has a cathode constituting member and an anode material adapted such that at least a part of the anode material is brought into direct contact with a cathode constituting member of another air battery. In this configuration, it is possible to eliminate the need to use an anode cap for sealing on the anode side and thereby possible to achieve not only reduction in weight and size but also reduction in cost.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 21, 2013Publication date: February 5, 2015Applicant: NISSON MOTOR CO., LTD.Inventors: Atsushi Miyazawa, Keita Iritsuki, Tomokatsu Himeno, Yoshiko Tsukada

Publication number: 20140214292Abstract: A control device for continuously variable transmission includes an operating state detection means for detecting an operating state of a vehicle including a vehicle speed and an accelerator pedal opening, a control means for controlling a speed ratio of a continuously variable transmission based on the operating state, an acceleration request determination means for determining the presence or absence of an acceleration request of a driver based on the accelerator pedal opening, and a speed ratio setting means for setting a speed reduction ratio controlled by the control means to be smaller with an increase in an acceleration start vehicle speed if the accelerator pedal opening is equal during acceleration. The control means updates the acceleration start vehicle speed to a vehicle speed at the time of a determination after determining that the accelerator pedal opening has been increased during acceleration.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 20, 2012Publication date: July 31, 2014Applicant: NISSON MOTOR CO., LTD.Inventors: Tomoyuki Suzuki, Akihiro Makiyama

Patent number: 4899083Abstract: An automatic lighting system comprises a bypass circuit bypassing a manual lighting switch. During operation in an automatic lighting mode, headlamps and a clearance lamp of the automobile automatically turn on when the engine operation becomes stable upon completion of start-up operation. The stability in operation of the bypass circuit in the automatic lighting mode is increased by the provision of a delay circuit via which a voltage appearing at an alternator driven by the engine is applied to a base of a transistor that is used to close and open the bypass circuit. Closing a cranking motor switch to activate a cranking motor causes the bypass circuit to be inoperable so that the headlamps and clearance lamp will not turn on during engine cranking.Type: GrantFiled: April 23, 1986Date of Patent: February 6, 1990Assignee: Nisson Motor Co., Ltd.Inventors: Sachiro Kataoka, Yukio Yamamoto, Saburo Okai
