Abstract: A connection structure for a resin pipe, in which leakage of fluid from between a metal pipe and the resin pipe fitted on the metal pipe is prevented for a long time. In the connection structure, at least two diameter-expanded sections (10, 11) are formed with a spacing on an end region of a metal pipe (1), the spacing between the two diameter-expanded sections (10, 11) functioning as a circumferential groove (12) in which a seal ring (SR) is received, and a resin tube (2) is fitted up to a position beyond a far side diameter-expanded section (11) of the two diameter-expanded sections (10, 11). A back ring (BR) is received in the circumferential groove (12) together with the seal ring (SR). The diameter-expanded sections (10, 11) of the metal tube (1) are formed by bulging or spool shape-forming process.

  • Patent number: 7721766
Abstract: A problem solved by this invention is to enable prevention of damage to a connector in a fluid transfer tube that is made by mounting a connector to an end of a tube, even when an outside air temperature falls below freezing point. The problem is solved as follows. In a fluid transfer tube that is made by mounting pipe joints to ends of a tube that has elasticity, tube connecting portions of the pipe joints and sections of the tube in the vicinity of the tube connecting portions are covered with heat radiation preventing covers to thereby delay freezing of a fluid inside the tube sections that are covered by the heat radiation preventing covers.

  • Publication number: 20090034949
Abstract: A device having a tube for heating or heat retaining of fluid includes a first path in which a connection section of a cord heater led out of the tube and a lead wire connected to a power supply is provided, a second path provided between the tube and the first path, and a drainage path for removing leaked fluid of the second path. In this device, the connection section is sandwiched by a pair of first sealing members to retain a sealed state and the cord heater passes through the second path in a sealed state by a second sealing member. This device can effectively prevent gas or liquid from leaking into the space where the connection section of a lead wire and a cord heater is provided.

  • Patent number: 6142537
Abstract: The connector includes a male member with an engaging portion on its outer face, a female member with an inner space for receiving the male member and a pair of manipulating members provided in the female member from opposite sides. The engaging portion of the male member is received through and behind the pair of manipulating members in the inner space. Each manipulating member has a part which enters the track region of the engaging portion and an elastic piece. The coupling of the male and female members is reliably obtained by two opposite side engagements between the engaging portion of the male member and the pair of manipulating members and maintained by the thrusting force by the elastic piece.

  • Patent number: 5763034
Abstract: A fuel transfer tube comprises an inner layer of hot-melt fluororesin and an outer layer of partial aromatic polyamide resin or ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer. The layer of hot-melt fluororesin reliably prevents alcohol from permeating into the tube, while gasoline is effectively prevented from permeating into the tube by the layer of partial aromatic polyamide resin or ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer. The fuel transfer tube, therefore, is suitable for transferring alcohol, gasoline and a mixture thereof.
