Patents Assigned to Nitto Denki Corporation
  • Patent number: 7222515
Abstract: An impact test apparatus includes a holding device for holding a test piece at an arbitrary holding force, an impact applying device for applying an impact force to the test piece held by the holding device, a force sensor for sensing the impact force applied to the test piece by the impact applying device, a high-speed camera for detecting a displacement of the test piece when applied with the impact force by the impact applying device, and an output device for synchronizing a signal from the force sensor with a signal from the high-speed camera and outputting an impact stress-strain characteristic curve when the impact force is applied to the test piece.

  • Patent number: 7153565
Abstract: Polytetrafluoroethylene porous film is laminated with an ultra high molecular weight polyolefin porous film to realize excellent formability, dust collecting ability, and permeability that could not be attained by these porous films used alone. The laminate, which can be formed to prescribed shape if desired, is used to make a container for holding an adsorbent.

  • Patent number: 6713571
Abstract: A process for producing an epoxy resin composition for photosemiconductor element encapsulation which, even when a filler or the like is not contained therein, can have a viscosity necessary for molding and hence be satisfactorily molded to give a cured resin less apt to have defects such as burrs or bubbles. The process, which is for producing an epoxy resin composition for photosemiconductor element encapsulation comprising an epoxy resin, a hardener and a hardening accelerator as constituent ingredients, comprises: a first step of melt-mixing the ingredients together; and a second step of regulating viscosity of the molten mixture obtained in the first step at a given temperature.

  • Patent number: 6507378
Abstract: A reflection type liquid-crystal in which a light guide plate is in tight contact with a liquid-crystal display element having a reflecting layer through a bonding layer with refractive index in a range of from 1.40 to 1.55 and whole light transmittivity in a range of not less than 90%, the light guide plate being designed so that incident light from an incidence side surface is emitted from a lower surface through prismatic irregularities formed on an upper surface, and the light emitted from the lower surface takes maximum intensity at an angle of 30 degrees or less with respect to a normal to a plane of the lower surface, while maximum intensity of leakage light from the upper surface at that angle is not larger than ⅕ of the maximum intensity in the lower surface, and incident light from the lower surface is transmitted from the upper surface.

  • Patent number: 6030702
Abstract: A sheet for protecting paint films of automobiles for adhering to the incompletely cured paint films of automobiles comprising two pack urethane paint, the sheet comprising a support and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer formed thereon, wherein the sheet has a Young's modulus E of at least 75 N/mm.sup.2 and a coefficient of flexural stress k represented by the formula k=Eh.sup.3 wherein h is a thickness of the support, of 0.035 or less. The protective sheet can uniformly protect the paint films and easily be peeled and removed therefrom without causing environmental problems and adhesive remaining of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer. Even when the sheet is adhered to incompletely cured paint films of automobiles and they are allowed to stand for a long period of time under an outside high temperature in summer, the sheet does not cause the deformation of the paint film and the microdeformations by the deformation of the paint film at the edge portion of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer.
