Abstract: A system, method and device for mass airflow sensor signal processing includes a microcontroller, a mass airflow sensor and an engine PCM. An analog-to-digital converter (ADC) converts a first output signal from the mass airflow sensor to a first VDC value. A digital-to-analog converter (DAC) converts a second VDC value to a second output signal associated with the mass airflow sensor. Transfer functions are obtained from a flow bench using the mass airflow sensor, performance air intake components, and stock air intake components. The microcontroller determines, from the first VDC value, a corresponding actual flow rate. From the actual flow rate, a corresponding stock VDC value is determined. The stock VDC value is then output to the DAC for conversion to the output second signal associated with the mass airflow sensor for communication to the engine PCM.
Abstract: A mass airflow measuring device includes an air passageway and a body positioned in the passageway. The body includes a peripheral section including a first channel, a sample section located radially inward of the peripheral section, and including an inlet port and a support section connecting the sample section to the peripheral section. The support section includes a second channel which communicates at a first end with the inlet port and at a second end with the first channel. A mass airflow sensor is mounted to the body.

Abstract: A mass airflow measuring system includes an air conduit and a sensor assembly mounted to the air conduit, including a unitary one-piece first section which in cross section defines a first channel, a second channel and a wall separating the two channels. A second section has similar components. A unitary one-piece corner section, in cross section includes four legs, each defining a respective channel. A respective leg is mounted in a respective one of the channels of the first and second sections to communicate the sections with each other through the channels defined in the corner section legs. A sensor housing is mounted to one of the sections and includes an inlet opening communicating with the first channel and an exit opening communicating with the second channel. A mass airflow sensor communicates with a sample channel defined in the housing.
