Abstract: A suspension is provided with a load beam and a flexure including a tongue on which a slider is mounted. A limiter is formed by cutting and raising a part of the tongue. The limiter includes a bent portion and arm. The tongue has an opening that is left after the limiter is cut and raised. The opening and limiter are formed along a center line of the tongue. A distal end of the dimple is in contact with a back surface of the slider through the opening.
Abstract: Provided is an anti-submarine vehicle seat device which can reliably prevent submarining without complicating the assembling of the seat assembly, and is adapted to be retrofitted. Major parts of the device are incorporated into a subassembly which comprises a casing adapted to be attached to a seat frame, a power actuator fixedly secured in the casing, an arm pivotally supported by the casing, and adapted to be actuated by the power actuator, and a lock mechanism for keeping the arm substantially at an actuated position once the arm is actuated by the power actuator.
Abstract: A gas spring apparatus comprises an outer tube, a cylinder held in the outer tube, and a rod having a piston located in the cylinder. The rod is inserted into the cylinder through a sealing portion. The interior of the cylinder is divided in two, a first liquid chamber situated on the side of the sealing portion and a low-pressure gas chamber situated on the side remoter from the sealing portion, by the piston. A space between the inner surface of the outer tube and the outer surface of the cylinder is divided between a high-pressure gas chamber and a second liquid chamber by a metal bellows. A first liquid chamber and a second liquid chamber communicate with each other by liquid communicating portions. A gas is charged in the high-pressure gas chamber at a higher pressure than in the low-pressure gas chamber.
Abstract: A clamp structure having a metal band body is mountable on a surface to be clamped. Small projections rising substantially vertically are formed on an inner lap portion of the metal band body. Receiving holes having an edge portion engageable with the projections are formed in an outer lap portion of the metal band body. A first tool receiving portion is formed on the outer lap portion of the body. A second tool receiving portion and a terminal holding portion are provided on an intermediate portion positioned in the longitudinal direction of the metal band body. The terminal holding portion has an opening for receiving the first end of the body when the projections are inserted into the receiving holes to fasten the metal band body. A temporary attaching means having a passage provided between the terminal holding portion and the projections temporarily attaches the metal band body by constraining the outer and inner portions to be engaged with each other when the metal band body is being fastened.
