    Abstract: An electrically grounded clothing item includes: a grounding wire configured to provide electrical grounding; electrically conductive thread configured to ground the entire garment through the grounding wire; and a conducting connector to which the grounding wire can be electrically connected at a first grounding wire end, the conducting connector configured to hold the grounding wire tightly to the electrically grounded clothing item, the grounding wire electrically connected at a second grounding wire end to an electrical ground.
