    Abstract: The disclosure relates to using anonymized audio data for monitoring properties. Disclosed herein are monitoring systems for properties and a method of monitoring properties. One example of a method of monitoring a property includes: (1) deriving at least one raw signal from noise proximate one or more noise detectors at the property, (2) generating a noise score from the at least one raw signal, the noise score being insufficient to reproduce a content of the raw signal, and (3) generating, based on the noise score and at least one or more other factors, a value representing a risk of damage to the property, wherein the one or more other factors include environmental data from at least one smoke sensor at the property.

In one example an air analyzer is provided that includes: (1) multiple sensors including one or more of a digital multi-pixel gas sensor, a digital humidity and temperature sensor, or a particulate matter sensor, wherein each of the multiple sensors is configured to obtain a sample of air and derive therefrom an environmental attribute, wherein the environmental attributes provide a signature of the sampled air, and (2) a smoke classifier configured to classify a smoking event by comparing the signature of sampled air to signatures of a classification model.

In one example, the method of monitoring a location includes: (1) deriving raw data from noise proximate a noise monitoring device at the location, (2) comparing, for a designated period of time, at least a portion of the raw data to a threshold, and (3) determining an occurrence of an event at the location based on the comparing.
