Abstract: A sealing device includes a reinforcement ring and an annular elastic body portion including a main body covering the reinforcement ring, a lip waist portion including an inner circumferential edge portion of the main body, a main lip extending from the lip waist portion to a first target side to be sealed and is to be in slidable contact with a rotary shaft, and a second dust lip extending from the lip waist portion to a second target side opposite to the first target side relative to the sealing device and being provided relative to the main lip with an annular space between the second dust lip and the main lip. The second dust lip includes a first lip slide portion being to be in slidable contact with the rotary shaft, a first protrusion formed on an inner circumferential surface of the second dust lip and closer to the first lip slide portion, and a second protrusion formed on the inner circumferential surface and closer to the lip waist portion than the first protrusion.
Abstract: A fine particle capture device, having a chip that has a plane part and projection parts, and is configured such that fine particle-containing liquid entering from an inlet port passes on the surface of the plane part in the chip and between a projection part and another projection part adjacent thereto and the liquid is discharged from an outlet port. The projection parts are disposed on the plane part in the form of layers. The layers each has a plurality of projection parts, and are configured such that the fine particle-containing liquid having passed through a layer on the inlet port side passes through a layer on the outlet port side adjacent thereto. Each layer has a capture part and a bypass part. The capture part is disposed on the outlet port side of the bypass part in a specific layer as a portion of another layer adjacent thereto.

Abstract: A sealing structure capable of providing consistent sealing performance for a prolonged time, and an assembling method of the sealing structure. An installation component is provided with an annular fitting groove in which a resin gasket is mounted. The fitting groove has a bottom with an annular projection including a tapered surface increasing in a diameter thereof from a pressure side to a non-pressure side, and a tapered surface decreasing in a diameter thereof from the pressure side to the non-pressure side. The tip of the annular projection is positioned closer to the pressure side than a center in a width direction of the fitting groove.
Abstract: A sealing device adapted to be disposed between an inner member and an outer member that rotate relative to each other includes a first sealing member including a cylindrical part adapted to be mounted to the outer member, and an annular part that extends radially inward from the cylindrical part; and a second sealing member including a sleeve adapted to be mounted to the inner member, and a flange. The first sealing member includes a lip that extends toward the flange of the second sealing member. An annular first clearance is provided between the flange and the cylindrical part of the first sealing member. The second sealing member includes a labyrinth lip extending from the flange radially outward and extending toward the atmosphere side more than the cylindrical part of the first sealing member, and a second clearance is provided between the labyrinth lip and the outer member.
Abstract: An ethylene/propylene-based copolymer rubber composition having excellent mold contamination resistance obtained by adding a primary antioxidant, a secondary antioxidant, and a plasticizer to ethylene/propylene-based copolymer rubber, wherein based on 100 parts by weight of the ethylene/propylene-based copolymer rubber, 0.3 parts by weight or more of the benzimidazole-based antioxidant (A) is contained as the secondary antioxidant, less than 10 parts by weight of the ether ester-based plasticizer (B) is contained as the plasticizer, and the (B)/(A) ratio is 4.0 times or more.
Abstract: An NBR composition for rubber laminated metal having 1 to 3 parts by weight of sulfur and 1 to 15 parts by weight of a disulfide compound such as 4,4?-dithiodimorpholine or dithiodicaprolactam represented by the general formula RN—S—S—NR (wherein RN is a cyclic linking group formed together with the N atom bonded to the S atom), based on 100 parts by weight of NBR. The rubber composition that can improve the protrusion properties of a rubber layer when used for, for example, a gasket or a brake shim material that is a laminated composite metal laminated with another metal plate.

Abstract: A ball joint and a dust cover in which a stable sealing function can be provided even when a space for disposing the dust cover is small are provided. The dust cover includes a deformable body portion, a fixed portion which is provided on one end side of the body portion and is fixed to a socket, and a seal portion provided on the other end side of the body portion. The seal portion has a main seal part which is provided to be slidable relative to a spherical portion side flange and an opposite side flange while sandwiched therebetween. Abstract: A fluororubber composition comprising 5 to 30 parts by weight of carbon black having an iodine adsorption of 70 mg/g or more, 5 to 20 parts by weight of carbon fiber having an average fiber diameter of 5 to 20 ?m and an aspect ratio of 2 to 10, and 3 to 20 parts by weight of PTFE, based on 100 parts by weight of fluororubber. The crosslinked molded article obtained from the fluororubber composition exhibits excellent effects of imparting oil film retention by using carbon fiber with specific properties, and improving abrasion resistance in unlubricated conditions by using the carbon fiber in combination with PTFE as a solid lubricant.
