Abstract: Method, apparatus, and computer program product example embodiments enable wireless communication devices to advertise wireless communication connections in an improved manner. In example embodiments, a method is disclosed for creating, at an apparatus, operating parameters for a wireless data channel connection and descriptive information regarding content available on the wireless data channel connection; transmitting, by the apparatus, one or more non-connectable undirected wireless advertising channel messages indicating presence of the wireless data channel connection, the operating parameters associated with the wireless data channel connection, and the descriptive information regarding the content available on the wireless data channel connection; and transmitting, by the apparatus, information on the wireless data channel connection according to the operating parameters, including the content.

Abstract: In accordance with an example embodiment of the present invention, a user equipment establishes a connection to a local area network, transmits information relating to the local area network to a gateway selection function, the gateway selection function determines whether a method to configure the local area network can be obtained, and the gateway selection function configures the local area network and local route parameters in the user equipment either via the local area network or via a cellular network.

Abstract: A method for voice based communication between a number of mobile terminals of a telecommunication network, the method comprising the steps of creating a group of said number of terminals and storing group information in each of the number of terminals, recording a voice message in one of the terminals of the group, dispatching the voice message to the terminals of the group from the one of the terminals, and receiving the voice message at least all other terminals of the group. The step of creating a group of terminals further comprises the steps of coupling together a number of mobile terminals, initiating a group creation command from at least one of the terminals, sending predetermined information from terminal to terminal to each terminal of the number of terminals for forming a group information, and transmitting the group information to all of the terminals thus forming a group of the terminals.
