Abstract: A decorative lighting arrangement includes a support, especially a stake driven into the ground, and a lighting fixture including a socket and a light bulb mounted in the socket. A coupling connects the lighting fixture to the support so that the light bulb and at least a predominant portion of the socket are disposed upwardly of an upper region of the support to be visible thereat.

Abstract: A lampholder for decorative strings of lights comprises at least two clips, one of which is radially oriented, the other of which is axially oriented, the axially oriented clip being formed as an extension of the radially oriented clip. Preferably a second axially oriented clip is provided in diametrically and axially opposed relationship to the first axial clip. The clips permit the lampholders to be secured to widely different types of supports that may be adventitiously found in a dwelling structure or that may be easily provided and attached thereto, and in different orientations, thereby facilitating the decoration of the dwelling. Suitably and preferably the clips are integrally molded with the body of the lampholder.
Abstract: A modular constructional toy kit for use in forming signs is made up of modular elements, each of which comprises a body portion having a planar forwardly facing surface with a bounding periphery having a regular geometric shape, and coupling elements for coupling the modular elements together with the planar surfaces generally residing in a plane and the body portions in side by side relationship. A set of e.g. alphabetic characters is provided, each character being arranged on a discrete portion of planar sheet material bounded by a margin complementary to the periphery of the body portion. Preferably the characters are die cut on the discrete portions of sheet material so as to form the character and at the same time a reverse character, either of which may be applied to the planar surface of the modular elements.
Abstract: A cord reel which also functions as a holder for a license plate of a vehicle includes a passageway therethrough. An electrical cord is captured in the passageway, conveniently by assembling the reel about the cord, whereby the cord cannot be removed from the reel, while permitting the cord to be moved along its length.
Abstract: An illuminated sign comprises front and back sheets central portions of which are generally planar. The front sheet carries design elements thereon certain of which are intended to be highlighted. The back sheet has portals therein generally opposed to the areas to be highlighted and which are closed by flaps which may form a unitary part of the back sheet. The portals provide access to lamps contained within the sign. The sign is easily mounted from a ground surface and is economic to manufacture for use as a seasonal decoration.
Abstract: A ground circuit indicator has a very high resistance and low leakage current to ground. Accordingly, should the ground circuit not be connected, the voltage applied to the chassis of any appliance connected to the circuit will be low, and will not expose persons to a shock hazard. The indicator is adapted for use with multiple outlet connectors.
