Abstract: The invention relates to a folding door with a door leaf (4) which is movable between a closed position and an open, folded position, in which the door leaf (4) is folded about folding lines between opposite side edges (5) of the door leaf. A plurality of guide members (110-118) are connected to the side edges (5) in a spaced-apart relationship along the same, and two side frames (1) are extended adjacent to a respective side edge (5). Each side frame (1) defines at least a first and a second guide groove (68, 69), which are juxtaposed transversely of the side frame. The guide members comprise, at each side frame (1), a first set of guide members running in the first guide groove (68) only, as well as a second set of guide members running in the second guide groove only (69).

Abstract: The present invention relates to a door of the type having two parallel guide rails, a plurality of guide means (10, 50), which are adapted, when the door moves, to be guided by and run along the guide rails, a plurality of neighboring door leaf panels (2), which at opposite ends are connected to the associated guide means (10) of said plurality of guide means, and a bottom panel (4) which is pivotally connected to an adjoining panel (2) of said door leaf panels and, via releasable joints, connected to two associated bottom guide means (50) among said guide means.

Abstract: The apparatus relates, according to a first aspect, to an edge guiding arrangement, for a door having a plurality of mutually rotatable panels (2) which are extended between and movable along two elongate guides (4) at opposite edge portions (8) of the panels (2). The edge guiding arrangement comprises such a guide (4), a guide device (16) engaging and being movable along the guide (4), and a joint between the guide device (16) and an edge portion of a panel (2). The edge guiding arrangement is characterised in that the guide device (16) is rotatable relative to the guide (4) in a plane (P) perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the guide (4), and that the joint between the guide device (16) and the panel (2) is resiliently flexible in said plane (P).

Abstract: A door, particularly for large doorways, which includes a door leaf suspended from an upper edge of the doorway and including at least one of a continuous sheet or a number of sheets arranged in a single or several layers attached to a series of lateral braces at an equal or common distance from each other in a vertical direction of the doorway. The lateral braces extend at respective ends thereof into a generally vertically extending guide profile, and from an upper edge of the doorway, a hoist is provided which includes lines or belts. Each lateral brace includes an attached hoisting device, with the hoisting devices being connected so as to enable movement of the door in an upward and downward direction.

Abstract: An arrangement in doors including a door leaf of a first material provided with an insert of a second material having properties differing from those of the first material. The first and second materials are sufficiently flexible to allow opening and closing of the door leaf by winding the door leaf respectively on and off a roller. The insert is replaceable and is attached to the door leaf by at least one row of loops secured to the door leaf and the insert. The loops are interdigitated and interlocked by a pintle wire inserted through the interdigitated loops to establish a pin seam so that the insert may be detached and re-attached to the door leaf. Further disclosed is a covering fabric which covers the insert and is attached to the door leaf by hoop-and-loop fasteners.

Abstract: A safety device, particularly intended to be used in roll-up doors to cause reversal of the door closing movements in case an obstacle obstructs the path of movement of the door. The device comprises at least a couple of photoelectric cells which are arranged at a certain distance from the closing edge of the door leaf in alignment with the door leaf on a support arm which is displaceable in the direction of closing of the door.

Abstract: Reinforcement elements intended for use in door leaves of the kind consisting of fabric or similar flexible material. The reinforcement elements preferably are in the shape of tubes and have end pieces attached to their ends for cooperation with a profiled guiding member mounted in the door-frame of the door leaf in such a manner that when the door is being closed said reinforcement elements will be positioned at different predetermined levels of the door leaf, thus strengthening the latter to prevent bulging of the door leaf when the latter is exposed to heavy winds.
