Publication number: 20230001040Abstract: An air sterilizing device has a casing, a wheel disc covered with microporous structures, a blower, and a sterilizing module. The casing has an air inlet and an air outlet. The blower located in the casing introduces the external air from the air inlet, and the external air is filtered and sterilized by the wheel disc and the sterilizing module. The filtered and sterilized air is discharged from the air outlet. The sterilizing module locates next to the wheel disc for sterilizing the air flowing through the sterilizing module and also for sterilizing the wheel disc by the relative rotation between the wheel disc and the sterilizing module. Bacteria and viruses attached to the wheel disc are eliminated, and the filtration and sterilization functions of the wheel disc are maintained. The efficacy and the efficiency of the air sterilizing device are therefore improved.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 19, 2022Publication date: January 5, 2023Applicant: Norm Pacific Automation Corp.Inventors: Horng-Tsann Huang, Yu-Ping Wang, I-Chieh Chen

Publication number: 20090038924Abstract: An automatic timing switch device includes a switch control wheel, a driving assembly, and a plurality of push switches. The switch control wheel includes a plurality of wheel-shaped structures stacked sequentially, wherein each of the wheel-shaped structures has at least one notch formed on an outer periphery of the switch control wheel, and the diameters of the wheel-shaped structures reduce sequentially so that the switch control wheel is in tapered shape. The driving assembly drives the switch control wheel to rotate. The push switches are switched by engaging into or separating from the notches of the wheel-shaped structures as the switch control wheel rotated by the driving assembly. Since the switch control wheel is in a tapered shape, so that the switch control wheel is easily to be formed monolithically and is convenient to be installed to the case of the automatic timing switch device.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 8, 2007Publication date: February 12, 2009Applicant: NORM PACIFIC AUTOMATION CORP.Inventors: Keng-Jen LAI, Ming-Teng CHU, Shih-Chi CHAN

Patent number: 5254909Abstract: A device for modulating and controlling the level of luminosity output by a lighting facility. The modulation may be of average current or voltage. The device modulates electrical power in a cyclical manner for input to the lighting facility, so that the resulting modulation of the luminosity output serves to exercise the eyes of persons exposed thereto. The average luminosity, and the amplitude and period of modulation can be set and adjusted by the user. The rate of modulation is sufficiently slow that the level of change of luminosity is accommodated by human eyes and is imperceptible through the eyes of persons exposed thereto. In one embodiment, an illuminance sensor is provided to read the actual illumination of a lighted object. The values of the illumination so read are fed back in the device to adjust the luminosity of the lighting facility, so that the object is illuminated in the desired cyclical manner.Type: GrantFiled: May 1, 1992Date of Patent: October 19, 1993Assignee: Norm Pacific Automation Corp.Inventors: Jia-Ming Shyu, Meng-Feng Li
