Abstract: Worm thread clamp and method of forming worm thread clamp. The worm thread clamp includes a tension strap having end sections arranged to overlap in a circumferential direction to form a radially inner end section and a radially outer end section, a housing connected to the radially inner end section, and a tension screw arranged in the housing to engage thread elements on the radially outer end section. The radially inner end section is arranged to project from the housing in the circumferential direction and includes a bridge, and a weakening area is enclosed in the bridge. The instant abstract is neither intended to define the invention disclosed in this specification nor intended to limit the scope of the invention in any way.
Abstract: A plug-in coupling for connecting a fluid conduit to a pipe has a pipe section having a first end section to be connected to a fluid-conduit and a second end section to receive and lock a pipe. A securing ring is attached to the inner side of the pipe section. At least one sealing ring is inserted into the pipe section and seals the pipe relative to the pipe section. The at least one sealing ring is positionally secured in the pipe section between the securing ring and an inner shoulder of the pipe section. The pipe section has a slot extending in a circumferential direction of the pipe section and a support surface located opposite the slot. The securing ring is inserted into the slot until the securing ring contacts the support surface. A circumferential section of the securing ring is received in the slot.
Abstract: Push fit coupling and method for connecting two fluid lines. The coupling includes a first element having a plug-in opening, a second element insertable into the plug-in opening, a retaining device for detachably holding the first and second elements together, and a valve, insertable into the plug-in opening, located on a front face of the second element.
Abstract: A profiled clamp with at least one profiled segment which extend successively in the circumferential direction of the clamp and are clamped by means of at least one clamping device. The profiled segments have a profile which in cross-section is essentially inversely trough-shaped or cup-shaped. When the clamp is clamped, flanges which are provided at the ends of two pipes to be connected by the clamp are pressed toward each other between diverging side walls of the profiled segments. Gaps with a bottom each are provided between adjacent profiled segments. In each gap is provided a resilient metal strip at a distance from the bottom of the gap which is greater than the thickness of the bottom of the profiled segments, wherein the metal strip extends transversely of the plane of the clamp, and wherein the metal strip is mounted through lateral arms of the metal strip at the bottom of the gap.
Abstract: In a pipe connection, a first pipe has a first flange of sheet metal provided with a first wall connected circumferentially to the first pipe. A second pipe has an end section shaped as a second flange. A clamp engages across the first and second flanges and has conical sidewalls forcing the first and second flanges axially against one another when tightening the clamp. The first flange delimits together with the first pipe an annular chamber that is coaxial to the longitudinal pipe axis. The first flange has a second wall that is glidingly supported on a free end of the first pipe. A sheet metal sealing ring is positioned between the first and second flanges. It has an edge section that is bent back onto a remaining sealing ring section that has a corrugation projecting past the bent edge section in an untightened state of the clamp.
Abstract: A hose coupling with a clamp which can be clamped around a longitudinal axis, wherein the edges of the clamp are located closer to the longitudinal axis than an area of the clamp located between the edges. The hose coupling further includes a pipe, wherein an end portion of the hose can be pushed onto an end portion of the pipe and can be clamped by means of the clamp. The end portion of the pipe is provided with a circumferential holding rib, wherein the end portion of the hose can be pushed past the holding rib and wherein the clamp can be clamped on the hose above the holding rib so that the hose is secured between the holding rib and the clamp. The clamp includes an elastic, circular circumferential metal clamping band of uniform thickness.

Abstract: A pipe clamp for connecting two partially insertable pipes has a clamping strap that is placed circumferentially about the spherical end sections of the pipes inserted into one another. The clamping strap has two outwardly projecting clamping jaws provided with a hole through which a clamping screw extends. The clamping strap is curved about a transverse axis that is positioned for coaxially inserted pipes in the untightened state of the clamping strap in a central plane of the clamping strap extending perpendicularly to the coaxial center axes of the pipes at a spacing from a center of the spherical end sections of the pipes. The inner radius of the clamping strap in the untightened state is smaller than the outer radius of the spherical end sections such that the sum of the spacing and of the inner radius is greater than the outer radius of the end sections.

Abstract: A plug-in coupling for connecting a fluid line with a pipe having a circumferential holding rib includes a pipe piece with a first end portion connectable to the fluid line and a second end portion which can be plugged together with the pipe, wherein the second end portion is connectable to a first coupling ring part of a coupling ring and is connected through elastic holding arms to a non-circular elastically expandable second coupling ring part. The second coupling ring part has locking sections which are distributed over a predetermined circumferential angle range of a circumference of the pipe piece. When the pipe and pipe piece are plugged together, the locking sections slide over the holding rib and expand the second coupling ring part and engage behind the holding rib, wherein the components located between the locking sections of the second coupling ring part are arched outwardly.
