Abstract: The present invention relates to a promoter system inducing expression of 3-hydroxypropionic acid (3-HP) and a method of biologically producing 3-HP using the same. To improve production of 3-HP in a biological manner, continuous synthesis of new enzymes having enzyme activity is necessary. As a result of screening 3-HP reactive transcription regulators and 3-HP reactive promoters from several microorganisms including Pseudomonas denitrificans, it was confirmed that the transcriptions regulations and promoters are composed of LysR proteins and particular gene nucleotide sequences binding to the LysR proteins. Therefore, the 3-HP inducible system is expected to be effectively used to regulate 3-HP metabolic pathways.
Abstract: Provided is a composition for forming a photocatalytic coating layer, a process for preparing said composition, a self-cleaning article comprising a photocatalytic coating layer comprising said composition and a process for preparing said self-cleaning article. The composition may be used to prepare a self-cleaning article having excellent anticorrosion and processability by one coating and drying procedure, without several coating and drying procedures.

Abstract: A cavitation resistant polyurethane composition includes a first solution comprising a urethane prepolymer and a second solution. The urethane prepolymer is synthesized by a polymerization of about 60 to about 70 weight percent of an isocynate compound and about 30 to about 40 weight percent of a polyol. An average functional group number of the isocyanate compound is at least 2. The second solution includes about 90 to about 95 weight percent of a polyol having an average functional group number of at least 4, about 1 to about 3 weight percent of a nano-carbon, about 1 to about 3 weight percent of a colorant, about 1 to about 3 weight percent of a moisture absorbent, about 1 to about 3 weight percent of an anti-wear agent, and about 1 to about 3 weight percent of a defoaming agent.
Abstract: An ultraviolet (UV) curable resin composition is provided which includes 25 to 45 parts by weight of a modified epoxy acrylate oligomer; and 10 to 25 parts by weight of a urethane acrylate oligomer. Further provided is a metal sheet that is transparent and corrosion resistant, impact resistant, scratch resistant, adhesive, anti-corrosive, and bendable (workable) by forming a coating film on the surface of a metal material such as a steel material, specifically a steel sheet, using the UV curable resin composition mentioned above.

Abstract: Core-shell coated pigment particles are prepared by core-shell coating using pigment particles, at least one hydrophilic organometallic compound, at least one hydrophobic organometallic compound, distilled water and a solvent. Ink particles coated with an ionized organometallic compound are prepared by using the core-shell coated pigment particles, the solvent and a halogen compound. The ink particles, a dispersing agent and a dielectric liquid are mixed to prepare an ink composition. The ink composition has an electrophoresis property to exhibit an electric movement and has a good dispersibility in a dielectric liquid. The ink composition may be applied in a reflective type color display device.
