Abstract: A system and method for system for providing on-demand renewable energy are provided. The system comprises at least one power unit for converting environmental energy into electrical power, wherein the electrical power is drawn from the at least one power unit; and a regulator for controlling an amount of the electrical power drawn from the at least one power unit based on an authorization rule, wherein the authorization rule is checked upon each attempt to draw the electrical power from the at least one power unit.
