Abstract: A paint applicator assembly includes a frame having a base. The base has a forward side, a first lateral side, and a second lateral side opposite the first lateral side. A light assembly is supported by the frame. The light assembly includes a printed circuit board having a forward side portion positioned proximate the forward side of the base. The light assembly further includes a plurality of light sources supported on the printed circuit board. The plurality of light sources includes a first light source and a second light source positioned on the forward side portion. The first light source is configured to direct light along a first direction, and the second light source is configured to direct light along a second direction that is different than the first direction.

Abstract: A handle adapter assembly is provided for attaching to a paint applicator. The handle adapter assembly includes a housing having a first end and a second end opposite the first end. The housing includes a first connector positioned at the first end. The first connector is configured to attach to the paint applicator. The housing also includes an outer surface extending between the first end and the second end. One or more light sources is supported by the housing. A power source is supported by the housing. The power source is electrically connected to the one or more light sources. A bumper member is supported by the housing. The bumper member extends outwardly beyond the outer surface of the housing.

Abstract: A paint edger for applying paint with a paint applicator pad that is coupled to the paint edger. The paint edger includes a frame having a base with a forward side, a rear side, a first lateral side, and a second lateral side opposite the first lateral side, the first lateral side defines a first edge. The paint edger also includes an ejection mechanism supported by the frame. The ejection mechanism defines a second edge adjacent the second lateral side of the base. The ejection mechanism includes an actuator. The actuator is operable to move the second edge relative to the frame to uncouple the paint applicator pad from the paint edger.

Abstract: A paint edging tool that deliver paint with sharp, clear edges at wall junctions. The paint edging tool includes a base wherein the base may include a handle, at least one wheel, a painting pad, a built-in-deflector, and at least one pad ejector. The handle may be configured to allow rotation between multiple positions. The handle may further include an adapter wherein the adapter is configured to be mounted on the handle, thereby allowing a pivoting motion in relation to the wall. The base may include at least one lobe, wherein the lobe is configured to be located on each side of the base, and is further configured to connect with the at least one wheel. The painting pad may be configured to be notched around the at least one deflector and the at least one wheel in order to allow painting inside a corner area of a wall.

Abstract: A light assembly is configured to connect between a handle and a work implement. The light assembly includes a housing that defines an interior and includes an adapter with a first end, a second end opposite the first end, and a first axis that extends centrally through the adapter between the first and second ends. The first end defines a bore configured to couple to the handle. The second end defines an extension configured to couple to the work implement. A battery receptacle is disposed within the interior of the housing and is configured to receive a battery. An elongated flexible arm extends from the housing and includes a first end adjacent the housing and a second end opposite the first end. A light is disposed at the second end of the elongated flexible arm.

Abstract: An improved paint container is disclosed. A paint container which may be a tray or an edger tray, is shown having two halves each being configured to hold and contain a liquid. The paint container may have a plurality of walls to form reservoirs therebetween, and a base. The two halves may be separated by an elevated member such as a ridge forming two reservoirs. The elevated member may have a rounded surface for permitting scraping of a pad or brush. In another embodiment, a can holder may include at least one opening that may be formed in a lower section of a base portion. The at least one opening may be as many as four holes and sized to accept fingers of a user. The plurality of holes may be configured and located below a thumb hole. The holes may be recessed permitting near simultaneous insertion of a thumb and fingers into the respective holes.
