  • Publication number: 20120061461
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for certifying and subsequently authenticating original physical or digital documents. The concept of the evidence lies in the dual nature of a physical information item and a digital information item, one being the reference for the other that cannot lie amended at the risk of the evidence being lost. For a physical original document associated with a bubble seal there is a corresponding time-and-date-stamped, proprietary paperless reference counterpart. For a time-and-date-stamped, proprietary digital original document there is a corresponding reference counterpart in the form of a bubble seal.

  • Publication number: 20120024684
Abstract: A circuit breaker includes several elementary circuit breakers (1) arranged as several segments (2), each suitable for powering several independent loads (3). These provisions make it possible to improve the thermal equilibrium on each segment by distributing the heating over all the segments. The segmental circuit breakers are more particularly suitable for multi-wire networks which power a single load through a multitude of wires of the network in parallel.

  • Patent number: 7731166
Abstract: The invention concerns a process and the associated universal device for supporting a part (1) of random and/or possibly complex shape in relation to a rigid base (11) while establishing a work reference. It consists of inserting between the part to be held and the rigid base (11), at least one deformable airtight enclosure (3) of constant volume full of incompressible particles (4). Then vacuum is applied inside the deformable enclosure (3) of constant volume using a vacuum source (5) which can be connected to the deformable enclosure (3). Thus the particles (4) amalgamate to constitute a solid block which at least partially rests on the rigid base (11) and holds the part (1) matching its shapes.

  • Patent number: 7726708
Abstract: High security seal that can be reused an indefinite number of times because the authenticating part evolves in a chaotic manner each time the seal is opened and then put back into service. This seal is composed of at least two authenticators (1) and (2) at least one of which is movable with respect to the other into the open position. These two authenticators become fixed and stable in the closed position. In each new fixed position, the two authenticators cooperate to generate a new authenticating feature that is stored in a database in order to be compared during a check. This feature will be cancelled and replaced with another one when said seal is fraudulently or deliberately opened and thus will provide proof that it has been opened.

  • Patent number: 7647279
Abstract: A method for making transactions secure based upon a card-type medium (2) comprising a number (4) and a remote database (5) connected to a telecommunications network. A unique and non-reproducible identifier (3) in the form of a bubble code is physically affixed to the card (2) comprising a number (4) contained either on a magnetic strip, of a bar code, or in an electronic label. One representation of this identifier (6) and or (7) is stored in the remote database (5) at the same number (4) as that present on the medium. This identifier (3) constitutes an unforgeable link between the magnetic strip (1) and the database (5). When a call is made to the remote database by means of the number recorded on the card, a link authentication is performed by comparing the representation of the identifier stored in said database and the actual identifier.

  • Publication number: 20090260753
Abstract: In order to produce heliostats, which are used in solar-thermal power stations, the method according to the invention provides for a mirror plate (1) to be placed on a mount structure (2) using a required-shape mould (5) and with the interposition of adhesion means (6). The required-shape mould (5) and the position and orientation with respect to a defined reference point are in this case transferred to the mirror plate (1) and are modeled into the adhesive means (6). Once the adhesive means (6) have cured, the required-shape mould (5) is removed, after which its shape is embossed in the mirror plate (1).

  • Patent number: 7438237
Abstract: Identification and authentication procedure without specific reader of a three-dimensional identifier (1), (9), (10), (11) attached to an object or living being by using sensory capabilities of the human being notably its stereoscopic vision capabilities (A) and its tactile sense (A?) permitting the appreciation of the particularity of the identifier which renders the latter difficult or impossible to reproduce which are, for example, heterogeneities mixed in a transparent material or surface ridges and/or cavities. The identification or reading is then carried by the visual comparison (B) of a two-dimensional representation image (2) of the identifier (1) (9) (10) (11) stored in a database (4) accessible by a network (5) and the identifier himself.
