Abstract: A method of processing browser sessions in a telecommunications network is provided. The method includes receiving, from a subscriber client device in a plurality of subscriber devices each having an associated subscriber and a browser session request. The method includes, at the entity in the service provider network: transmitting the browser session request to a server entity located inside or outside the service provider network, receiving, from the server entity, a browser session response in relation to the transmitted browser session request, transmitting the browser session response to the subscriber client device, performing a lookup in the subscriber profile database for the subscriber client device in the plurality or the associated subscriber, and modifying, prior to the respective transmittal, at least one of the browser session request and the browser session response according to the results of the lookup. An apparatus and computer software are also provided.

Abstract: A method of processing data in a network is disclosed. The method comprises transmitting, from a first server to a second server, first information characterising a first predefined format according to which first data is stored at a first data store; obtaining, at the second server, mapping information characterising a mapping of the first predefined format onto a second predefined format different to the first predefined format; generating, at the second server, based on the first information and the mapping information, second information for converting data in the first predefined format into data in the second predefined format; transmitting, from the second server to the first server, the second information; and parsing, at the first server, using the second information, the first data stored at the first data store, to generate data in the second predefined format. Apparatuses are also disclosed.

Abstract: A method is described of facilitating targeted content delivery in a network comprising at least one service provider network (SPN) and a user profile data database located externally to the SPN. A network device located externally to the SPN performs the method, which comprises accessing user profile data from the user profile database and receiving, from a demand side platform via the network, segment definition data comprising a list of user attributes and attribute values associated with a given targeted content delivery process. The method further comprises determining, for each identified user identified, to include the user in a list of candidate users to be targeted if user attribute values of the user match user attribute values from the received list. User identifiers for each entry in the list of candidate users are communicated to an entity in a first SPN responsible for facilitating the delivery of targeted content.
