Abstract: The present application relates to a mobile wireless Internet communication device with a small, compact, portable housing, an energy supply, a central processing unit comprising at least one processor for operating the device, at least one memory unit in communication with the central processing unit for storing data and operating instructions in a retrievable manner, a transceiver unit for receiving data from other devices and for sending data to other devices, a user interface on the housing and an operating software for operating all components of the device according to the intended purpose. The present application defines a dedicated user-wearable device that is designed as a single purpose micro-blogging device with the hardware and the operating software designed and/or operated to fulfill the major or all functions related to receiving, displaying, storing, retrieving, writing, editing.
Abstract: This invention relates to a method for operating a portable mobile Internet media recorder. Such media recorder comprises an energy supply unit, a control unit, a user interface comprising a display and at least one user key, a wireless Internet communication link, a media player with a digital media data memory, and a media data output. Such mobile Internet media recorder is usually used in a mobile Internet-based data communication system comprising at least a monitoring station for a number of media sources. The essential aspects of the method are as follows: Media data of a media track streamed by an Internet media source are checked for at least one specific media characteristic. This can be done either by the software of the media recorder or, preferably, by the monitoring station. Upon finding the specific media characteristic the media data of the particular media track are automatically stored in the media data memory of the media recorder along with a track identification.
Abstract: The present application relates to a communications accessory device, system and method for a motor vehicle having an ignition variable between an “ON”-state and an “OFF”-state, wherein the device and system comprises a permanent power supply line input and an ignition sense line input, wherein the device and system further comprises a control logic directly or indirectly connected to both inputs, and wherein, when not installed, the power supply status of both inputs is “LOW” and, when properly installed in a motor vehicle the power supply status of the permanent power supply line input is permanently “HIGH” and the power supply status of the ignition sense line input is “HIGH” when the ignition of the motor vehicle is “ON” and is “LOW” when the ignition of the motor vehicle is “OFF”.
