  • Patent number: 11728968
Abstract: An authenticated encryption device 10 includes: an encryption means 11 which encrypts a plaintext block by inputting, to an encryption function whereby data of a predetermined bit number is output when data of the predetermined bit number is input, a plaintext block of the predetermined bit number constituting the plaintext to be encrypted with a mask value, which is uniquely determined from an adjustment value including an initial vector not overlapping a past value and a secret key, being added; and a computation means 12 which computes, as a checksum, the exclusive OR of corresponding bits of a first bit string, a bit number of which is less than the predetermined bit number, of each of a plurality of plaintext blocks constituting the plaintext.

  • Publication number: 20150023606
Abstract: A reliability acquiring apparatus includes a section that stores information on a classifier that outputs part likelihood concerning a predetermined part of a detection target when applied to an image, a section that calculates, concerning an image region included in an input image, the part likelihood on the basis of the information on the classifier, a section that determines, on the basis of the calculated part likelihood, a position of the predetermined part in the input image, a section that stores information on a reference position of the predetermined part, a section that calculates, on the basis of the information on the reference position, difference information between the reference position of the predetermined part and the determined position of the predetermined part, and a section that calculates, on the basis of the difference information, reliability indicating possibility that the input image is an image of the detection target.

  • Publication number: 20120239400
Abstract: A speaker or a set of speakers can be recognized with high accuracy even when multiple speakers and a relationship between speakers change over time. A device comprises a speaker model derivation means for deriving a speaker model for defining a voice property per speaker from speech data made of multiple utterances to which speaker labels as information for identifying a speaker are given, a speaker co-occurrence model derivation means for, by use of the speaker model derived by the speaker model derivation means, deriving a speaker co-occurrence model indicating a strength of a co-occurrence relationship between the speakers from session data which is divided speech data in units of a series of conversation, and a model structure update means for, with reference to a session of newly-added speech data, detecting predefined events, and when the predefined event is detected, updating a structure of at least one of the speaker model and the speaker co-occurrence model.

  • Patent number: 6771164
Abstract: Techniques and devices for automatically identifying a local device are provided. An adapting device is interposed in between a local device and a central processing device. The adapting device receives a unique transmission frequency from the processing device over electrical power lines. The unique transmission frequency is communicated to the local device and is used by the local device and the processing device for subsequent communications. Moreover, in some embodiments, the local device provides a local device type to the adapting device that is sent by the adapting device to the processing device and used by the processing device to identify a command set recognized by the local device. In other embodiments, the adapting device translates messages sent from the processing device and communicates the messages to the local device. Furthermore, in some embodiments, the adapting device translates messages sent from the local device and communicates the messages to the processing device.

  • Patent number: 4967832
Abstract: A method and apparatus for lowering integrated circuit chip ambient temperatures uses negative pressure to induce cooling liquid flow, rather than prior art positive pressure approaches, thereby preventing undesirable cooling liquid leakage outside of the cooling region. The cooling liquid is deaerated to eliminate performance degrading air bubbles, which are a by-product of the negative pressure approach.

  • Patent number: 4958309
Abstract: A microprocessor controlled circuit and associated firmware program provide a capability to change output frequencies when required. A plurality of frequency generating devices are included, and logic circuitry is used to determine which frequency generator is coupled to the microprocessor to provide the desired output frequency. The logic circuitry is controlled by the microprocessor in accordance with a comparison of a data pattern stored in the internal random access memory of the microprocessor with at least one of a plurality of data patterns stored in a read only memory, which data patterns represent the frequency generating devices.
