Abstract: In a friction plate 40, segment pieces 42 of a friction material are bonded onto a core plate 40 at intervals in a circumferential direction. 43 denotes a spline tooth. On each segment piece, there are formed a first oil groove which is made to open to an inside-diameter side of the segment piece and has its end portion part-way along the segment piece (hereinafter, referred to as a first oil groove) and a second oil groove which is made to open to an outside-diameter side of the segment piece and has its end portion part-way along the segment piece (hereinafter, referred to as a second oil groove). Segment pieces in which a first oil groove 51 and second oil grooves 61 are pressure molded and segment pieces in which a first oil grooves 52 and second oil grooves 62 are stamped are arranged alternately.

  • Patent number: 7749926
Abstract: A friction plate 22 is formed by pasting a friction member 25 to a core plate 23 of a metal. Numeral 24 designates a spline teeth fitted to a torque transmitting member. The friction member has a nonwoven cloth including aramide fiber and at least one of carbon fiber, carbonized fiber, cellulose fiber and rayon. A thermo-hardening resin includes a friction conditioner, and is impregnated to the friction member. Further, a distribution rate of the friction conditioner is made to be high at a friction surface and is gradually lowered toward a bottom surface. Further, in manufacturing the wet type friction member, a roll, an ultrasonic wave transmitter, a vacuuming apparatus on the like is used.

  • Publication number: 20090071788
Abstract: A one-way clutch 10 has rollers 24, block bearings 30 and a cage 40 between outer and inner rings 21, 23. A cam surface 27 formed by a valley portion 25 and an inclined surface 26 is formed on an inner circumferential surface of the outer ring 21 so as to correspond to the rollers 24. A spring 33 is interposed between a recessed portion 31 of an inner circumferential surface of the outer ring 21 and a recessed portion of the block bearing 30 and biases the roller 24 against the cam surface 27 via the cage 40. The one-way clutch 10 engages when the inner ring 23 rotates along arrow F and idles when the inner ring 23 rotates along arrow R. Because the springs 3 are not necessarily provided for each of the rollers 24, the number of components is reduced and ideal torque capacity is obtained.

  • Publication number: 20070295574
Abstract: Friction materials 21 and 22 of different types which differ from each other in terms of a material and a thickness are affixed to respective surfaces of the friction plate 20 and engage with surfaces 31 and 32 of respective separators 30. In the case where the friction materials 21 and 22 are affixed to respective surfaces of the core plate 23 of the fiction plate 20, when the friction materials 21 and 22 are aligned in this sequence along a horizontal direction in a drawing, the surface 31 of the separator plate 30 engages with either of the friction materials 21 and 22, and the surface 32 of the same engages with a remaining friction material. However, when the friction materials 21 and 22 are affixed alternately in different sequence, either of the friction materials 21 and 22 engages with both sides of one separator plate 30.

  • Patent number: 7172671
Abstract: A core plate 1, which has been punched in a core plate punching step 20, is conducted a surface roughing step 30 and a cleaning step 40. After coating both surfaces of the core plate 1 with adhesive in an adhesive coating step 50, the core plate 1 is put on a friction member 2, which has been punched in a friction member punching step 60, in a piling step 70, and a piled body 3 is conveyed to a drying and curing step 80. The core plate 1 is heated by high-frequency heating to dry and cure the adhesive. The core plate 1 and the friction member 2 are heated and pressured by the hot press 91, and the friction plate 4 is completed. Since high-frequency heating is adopted, an apparatus can be downsized, working time can be reduced and production efficiency can be enhanced.
