Contextual data is collected from the users indicative of their current situation. This data is then correlated with the metadata tags to identify data items of potential interest to the users taking into account their current situation. The identified data items are pushed to the relevant receiving devices in real time over a communications network to provide the identified users with information relevant to their current situation.
