Abstract: In the case an update is generated for shared data housed in each terminal that composes a computer system, a terminal uniquely determined for every update based on a predetermined prescribed algorithm simultaneously transmits update information to the other terminals. In addition, information relating to member data within the group is also treated as shared data. Discrimination numbers are assigned to update information generated for shared data. During simultaneous multicast transmission, a discrimination number is transmitted together with update information, and that discrimination number is also managed as shared data in each terminal.

Abstract: A gathering apparatus gathers CDRs from a CDR accumulating apparatus at the start time of a cycle operation, and transmits them to a processing apparatus. If the gathering of CDRs is not finished within a predetermined period of the cycle operation, a job starting function in a next and all following cycle operations is disengaged. Then, after the gathering in the present cycle operation is finished, the gathering in the next and all following cycles of manipulation is performed.

Abstract: A model reader reads out provider models from a provider model file on the basis of the types of carriers read out by a type reader. A module reader reads out, in units of planes, charge calculation modules that provide settlement items uniquely set for each carrier from a charge calculation module file. A communication charge calculator calculates a communication charge according to the module that has been read from the module file on the basis of a charge calculation module.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a network system, the network system of the present invention comprises an authorized client terminal which is connected to a network, a server which is connected to the network, and a firewall which is interposed between the server and the network. The client terminal accesses the server by means of a publicly known protocol via a port having a publicly known port number in the firewall. In the case in which the accessing client terminal is authorized, the server downloads program for realizing effective dedicated protocols solely between the client terminal and itself to the client terminal via the port having the publicly known port number. Furthermore, the server access with the client terminal conducts data communication by executing the program and by means of the dedicated protocols, via the network and the port having the publicly known port number.

Abstract: A mail wrapping system apparatus for preparing for mailing postal items includes receiving trays for respectively receiving postal items from companies and an extraction device for extracting from the postal items a multiplicity of same address groups of the postal items, each of the same address groups consisting of ones of the postal items having coinciding ones of destination addresses. A wrapping unit respectively individually assembles each of the same address groups into a bundle and successively wraps each of the same address groups assembled using a wrapping component with a corresponding one of the destination addresses respectively displayed on each of the wrapped same address groups to provide for mailing the wrapped same address groups. A weight sorter then sorts the wrapped same address groups into weight divisions set forth by a fee schedule of a specified delivery agency and the wrapped same address groups are sent with appropriate postage.
