    Abstract: A support and locking device for nozzles of a high-pressure stage in gas turbines comprises a plurality of groups of stator vanes, which are associated with a plurality of outer sealing plates, for connection of the groups to the outer liner of the combustion chamber, and are associated with a plurality of inner sealing plates, for connection of the groups to the inner liner of the combustion chamber. Each of the groups of stator vanes is locked by an inner ring, and the ring has a first series of outer holes to reinforce this locking, and a second series, of inner, through holes, which are provided in an inner extension of the ring and are used to secure the ring itself to the structure of the gas turbine.

    Abstract: A gas flow control valve which enables mass flow to be measured using a flow straightener in a valve entry duct, a tube for lengthening the entry duct into the valve, a valve element exit port with suitably radiused edges and a flow stabilizer in the valve exit duct. Upstream and downstream pressure taps are positioned immediately upstream of the flow straightener and downstream of the flow stabilizer respectively. This enables the flow rate to be controlled not by the formulas traditionally used for valve dimensioning, but by formulas derived from more accurate formulas used for calculating mass flow with standard members of a fixed restriction type.

    Abstract: A guide system for a gripper insertion tape in a shuttleless loom which includes a sley with a reed, through the dents of which pass upper and lower warp yarns forming a shed, at least one insertion tape moving with reciprocating motion between the upper and lower warp yarns of the open shed, a gripper fixed to one end of the tape to convey a weft yarn through the shed, and a plurality of guide teeth fixed spaced apart on the sley and projecting through the lower warp yarns of the shed when the shed is open. The teeth are provided with a bearing and guiding surface for the insertion tape and for the gripper. The bearing and guiding surface of the teeth includes a convex surface which extends in the direction of the warp yarns. A control mechanism is also provided making guiding of the insertion tape and the gripper more effective during travel thereof within the shed.

    Abstract: A main nozzle for an air jet loom has an outer casing and is provided with a compressed air introduction duct and a mixing chamber. A mixer tube provided with an annular distributor ring is inserted into the outer casing to form with the outer casing and annular distribution chamber upstream of the distributor ring and, downstream of the distributor ring, and annular accceleration chamber which feeds into the mixing chamber. The distributor ring has annularly arranged blowing slots. The acceleration chamber is formed by an outer conical wall provided on a portion of the inside of the outer casing and an inner conical wall provided on a portion of the mixing tube. The tapered walls of the annular acceleration chamber optimize the air jet used for inserting the weft into the shed. The inclination of the taper of the outer wall of the nozzle annular acceleration chamber is 12.degree.-16.degree., and that of the inner wall is 4.degree.-8.degree.. In the preferred embodiment, the taper of the outer wall is 15.

    Abstract: A reed for an air-jet loom which includes an entry flare allowing several main nozzles to be used. The reed has an inclination of the lower surface of an air guide channel, and an advantageous spacing between the binding spirals which support upper and lower ends of the reeds. The arrangement provides for effective, reliable multi-weft weaving, and can increase the weaving efficiency of the loom, particularly when weaving yarns with irregularities. In a preferred embodiment, the distance between the two binding spirals is approximately 81 mm, with the lower surface of the entry flare having an inclination of approximately 6.degree. with respect to a normal to the rear surface of the channel.
