    Abstract: A beverage preparation device and a method of dispensing and mixing a beverage. The device includes a fluid tank for holding a fluid, a compartment for holding a powdered beverage, and a powder metering assembly for dispensing a metered amount of powdered beverage into a beverage container. The device also includes a rotatable mixing platform for mixing the fluid and powder within the container and a controller for controlling the amount of fluid dispensed into the container.
