  • Patent number: 10710375
Abstract: A method for printing includes analyzing print quality requirements for a printing area; adjusting settings for heater elements (e.g., energy and/or firing durations) of strobe lines based on the requirements analysis; and providing a plurality of individual strobe signals to the strobe lines. The strobe signals can be transmitted simultaneously, for example with a field-programmable gate array. Analyzing print quality requirements can include separating the printing area into one or more areas of interest, such as rows and/or columns. For each area of interest individual print quality settings (e.g., darkness, contrast, and/or media sensitivity) may be selected.

  • Publication number: 20200214854
Abstract: A method of performing arthroplasty of an anatomical joint for receipt of an implant is disclosed. The method includes developing a preoperative plan, designing a patient specific guide based on the preoperative plan, obtaining the patient specific guide, placing the patient specific guide relative to the identified bone, fixing a pair of pins into the bone to establish an Alpha plane and executing the preoperative plan while referencing the Alpha plane. A desired amount of remaining first bone is determined based on a condition of the anatomical joint and a desired orientation of the implant. The patient specific guide includes a pair of bores defined therein and located in positions to accept a complementary pair of pins. The bores are arranged at locations on the patient specific guide to orient the respective pins in a direction optimized for surgeon access to the first bone and to establish the Alpha plane.

  • Patent number: 10703112
Abstract: Methods for converting an image to source script are provided. Generally applied to thermal printers, the methods may assist users in reproducing or amending a label without actual source script. In one embodiment, a mobile device comprising a software application may be able to scan an image, for example a barcode label. The software application may use an image processing library to recognize smart object fields in the captured image, including text, barcodes, image and shapes and then may translate the smart object information to a printing language script automatically. The application may provide the capability to a user to adjust the parameters specific to each of the identified smart objects. Once the user makes the necessary changes, a script file may be generated based on the updated smart object information. Then, the label may be sent to a printer from the application itself.

  • Patent number: 10708481
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a camera module and a photosensitive assembly thereof. The photosensitive assembly includes a circuit board, a photosensitive chip and a packaging body. The photosensitive chip is connected to the circuit board, and includes a photosensitive region and a non-photosensitive region surrounding the photosensitive region. The packaging body is formed on the circuit board and a portion of the non-photosensitive region of the photosensitive chip. The packaging body includes a top surface away from the photosensitive chip and an inner side surface connecting the top surface to the non-photosensitive region. A portion of the inner side surface adjacent to the top surface is a cambered surface, and the cambered surface has a larger surface area than an inclined plane, thus the cambered surface can carry more adhesive. In this way, it is possible to effectively prevent the adhesive from flowing to the photosensitive region of the photosensitive chip.
